South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

There was something....irritating about this man. It was hardly just his words, no, it was more then that. It was his demeanor, his manner, that cocky-ass little smirk on his face. He had balls for a Fae, Azzy would give him that. Fae, after all, were the weakest of the supernatural species- at least when it came to physical prowess. They lacked the strength and speed of a hunter or a vampire, the wildness and healing power of a Were or the ability to command the elements of a witch. He had seen the occasional, powerful Fae and yet they were rare. Fae, for the most part, seemed to have very little ability outside of simply being cunning little bastards. He had enough experience with them to know that- and just enough to know that this one seemed to be....searching for something, waiting for something and yet what the hell it was he hardly knew. Maybe the fool was just a jerk all around. Maybe it didn't damn well matter. That second shove seeing the man lose another cigarette and yet the Fae hardly seemed overly perturbed once more, commenting simply instead on his like to be forceful. Azrael's gaze narrowing slightly once more before those hard words found his lips again.

"I find most people don't listen to words, sometimes a little force drives it home. Smoking's bad for you anyway."

His shoulders shrugged bluntly, abruptly. Those golden eyes watching the other man darkly as he fumbled for yet another cigarette before lighting it and bringing it to his lips. Fae were immortal, but could they still die of bloody lung cancer? Was that too much to hope for? His notoriously short patience was beginning to wear more and more thin. Why did this crap always happen at the end of his shift? Why couldn't these damn fools wait half an hour longer before spouting off at the mouth and letting the next Hunter on duty take over? If he was late for dinner again Sera would damn near murder him. In the very least she probably wouldn't heat it up again and take great delight at watching him eat it cold- at least for a few mouthfuls. The sooner he got this ass out of the park the better and yet the Fae man hardly seemed inclined to hurry, some sort of power engaged to mimic him. Great. Of every fucking Fae in the city he'd found possibly the most annoying one. One that seemed to have some sort of mirroring ability in the very least. Not a particularly useful power as far as he could tell and yet a bloody irritating one at that. Azrael about to speak once more before the name of his girlfriend suddenly fell from the man's lips. Genuine surprise touching his features then. Did he know her? Did he know him? Who the fuck was this guy?

That sudden blunt assurance that he hardly expected an answer and that he was simply trying to prove a point of just what his power could do saw Azrael's jaw set firmly, his teeth near grating against themselves as he struggled to maintain that temper once more. How much did he know about Sera? Was he a mind reader or did he just have some ability to perceive people? His relationship with Sera had been kept secret for well over a year. After all, it wouldn't do to have the rest of the Council know he was dating a witch. One of the very creatures he was tasked with destroying. He knew how hypocritical it was, to do the things he did, to murder those supernatural creatures when he went home to one nearly every night. Maybe the Fae wasn't some sort of mind reader at all- maybe he actually knew Sera. He looked like the type of fellow she might have once kept....acquaintances with. Azrael merely letting his gaze rove over the man once more in search of some scrap of familiarity. The Hunter working hurriedly to shift his features into something less surprised in the least. His arms folding back over his chest before the sudden use of 'sweetness' only saw that scowl deepen.

"Why the hell do you keep calling me that?"

It was, Azrael suspected, purely to annoy him and yet 'sweetness' seemed almost....affectionate or endearing or.....something you'd call a woman. The very idea that the man before him might enjoy other man in his bed had hardly occurred to the Hunter in any sense. Azrael, sometimes, decidedly slow when it came to such realisations. The Fae, however, seemed to have finally decided he wanted to leave, the man beginning to wander towards those park gates with some muttering about hoping to see him again with the promise of a 'good time'. Fuck it. He couldn't let the guy go now. Not when he knew Sera's name. That sound of irritation rose within his throat once more as he moved to step after the other man. This was not the game he wanted to play and yet- he was going to be forced into it, at least for a moment. Still- maybe he could at least keep him walking towards those gates all the same. Azrael falling into step beside him. Those golden eyes cutting down towards him, his hands shoved roughly into his pockets.

"How do you know my girlfriends name? You friends or something?"
