The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

As if answering her prayers, a figure soon wandered loser to where they hid. Sniffing the air, her eyes lit up. A Hunter. If the little hairs up on the back of her neck and the sudden urge in her to fight or run was any indication, he had to be. She glanced toward Frost from her perch, willing to get confirmation from him but she was already relying on her instinct and it was telling her that he was indeed what they'd been searching for. She could see the way he was holding his arm too, like it was injured or sore. Already a weakness in sight, awesome. This should be a piece of cake. She smirked, crouching lower on the branch even as he went to a tree and let himself slide down. Then he even closed his eyes. Her brow rose in surprise. Are you shitting me?! Was he sleeping?! She glanced toward Frost again, trying to overcome the urge to laugh at the ridiculousness of it. It was like their luck was on par tonight or something. They had been hand delivered a Hunter who was wounded and tired, apparently. What else could they ask for? She was about to grab a few acorns and start throwing them at the Hunter, anything to wake him up without getting within reach, just in case, but then she glanced up at a new scent. Another Hunter? What was this?! They only needed one! She clenched her jaw in agitation, watching as the other figure ran to the man beneath the tree. She called his name, Ludo, and started asking what happened. She curled her lips, holding back a feral growl as she glared down at them. Guess she'd have to work on two Hunter tonight then, cause she wasn't about to back out now. Frost assured her earlier that her own skills would get better as she got stronger and she scowled. "Well they need to hurry up." She grumbled in irritation. When she complained about the illusionary form she took, he told her it cost him too much concentration and she snorted and then smirked teasingly. "If you can't do it, just say so. No need to make excuses. Like you said, you can only get stronger, right?" Her eyes glittered at him before she moved to climb into the tree. Once they saw the current situation, she heard his voice in her mind, telling her that he knew the girl and she shouldn't be a problem. He was leaving it up to her. She grinned and gave a subtle nod before disappearing from the branch. She reappeared right beside the girl. "Watch out...." She said right as she reached out to grip the girl's shoulder firmly then she would throw her toward a tree with her extra strength. "...for that tree." She finished with a smirk before she turned to the man. Hoping to knock the girl out and take her out of the fight for Frost's sake, she turned her attention on the man who was probably coming around by now. She reached out to grab him by his ankle then she would drag him forward before driving her foot down at his stomach. She was playing with him though, hoping he would see it coming and roll out of the way or counter or something. She needed to draw him out in a fight, get him to use his powers. That was the goal for tonight. She wouldn't forget that. |
