South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

It was obvious that Adelaide trusted each and every one of the people here. He could see the faith of them to handle whatever life threw at them reflected in her beautiful green eyes. She thanked him and he could see his words meant a lot to her. He smiled warmly at her in answer. As he took his place on the sofa in the corner, he could hear Adelaide's little pep talk for her employees and he smirked as he settled back on the cushions. He would definitely not be getting one of those any time soon from Townsend. He watched as the employees all went into work mode, taking care of the customers with ease. The place was packed but no one seemed that flustered.

Killian never stopped smiling from his place at the bar. He shined the glasses to perfection and dealt with the bar goers with ease. His accent was refreshing. It somehow made the bar that much more approachable. Abigail looked overwhelmed at first but he saw her get into an easy rhythm as the day went by. He saw her look a little flustered every so often but all in all, he thought she was doing really well. Elain did about the same. Both girls didn't act like they'd ever done a waitressing job before but they were pretty natural at it once they took a few orders. They'd do just fine.

His gaze was pulled away from people watching when a certain person came over to his section and stood before him. She looked so prim and proper standing there with her hands folded neatly in front of her, that gaze able to do so many things to him even before she spoke. By then, he was already shifting on his seat and running a hand through his hair as he looked up at her. At her question, he smirked teasingly, his eyes running up her legs leisurely till he got to her gaze. "I could think of a few things....but the coffee will do for now."
