It was more often, than Raven cared to admit, that she was in such a peril circumstance. She was an innocent creature and yet she was always doomed to be caught in some sort of dilemma. Perhaps that was her Fate. To constantly be in an environment where she could never be safe and lower her guard. Already she was captured by a rouge Dark Hunter, suffering under his abuse and psychological attacks. Not to mention the return of her Father, even though she knew she had killed him when she was feral, now that he was lurking about â€" it only made things worse! The very thought that he could be close by her home. Although she had her Alpha and mate to protect her and keep her safe, Raven was absolutely terrified! And she had every right to be! That man had been a constant nightmare when she was awake and when she closed her eyes. Lying there in the grass, unable to move, she panted heavily as her attackers drew closer to her. Worried, she sent a quick message through the mental link of their pack, giving her mate warning that she was in danger. Surely he would wake up on this beautiful morning and understand that she was in peril. He was protective. Perhaps a bit too protective sometimes. However, this was one of those moments when she needed him to be aware. Raven hated being seen weak or a damsel in distress, and yet, she had to put aside pride for now. As her attackers came closer she felt one jolt her with electricity, her body writhing in pain, a sharp cry released. Yet her cry was overpowered by another's. Blue-grey eyes widened in shock when she saw a large ferocious lion tearing through the Dark Hunters. When he was finished and approached her, she went tense, watching him carefully uncertain if he would be friend or foe. But as he snipped her free she jumped to her feet, wriggling out the dirt and jitters she had, only sitting when she was done. Once the introductions were complete she shook her head no when he asked if she recalled why they were after her. After all it was the truth.
Her dial would turn to the left as she gestured in that direction where she had come from. She would look over to the shredded forms of the Dark Hunters, looking for any sign that she would recognize them and therefore know why they were after her. Mentally the lupine made a note that she would need to speak with Azrael and see if her head was on a target list. When he got up to leave she followed after him as they entered the safety of the woods. Raven would find herself walking beside the lion, keeping a friendly distance between them, still a bit wary about him. He was a stranger. She had met a Were Lion before, and he was not very kind. He was gruff and cold, and his presence alone made her hardly capable of learning to trust him, or even try. This one though didn't seem like that at all, he seemed quite different...a good different. Picking up the pace a bit she began to take the lead, silently urging Roman to follow her towards the West.
