Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It wasn't long before Henry caught the familiar scent of Malia. It was strange how his heightened senses worked and it definitely caught him off guard more times than he could manage. He loved his friendship with Malia, but ever since they were intimate with one another...he was a little worried about how to introduce her to Sterling. It just didn't seem right to introduce as the woman who "he bathed and then later fucked because he had thought he had murdered his boyfriend." It just didn't seem right. Immediately, more out of fear than anything, he dropped Sterling's hand. It wasn't that he was embarrassed to be seen with Sterling...but more that he was a nervous wreck. The sweat that dripped down his forehead at the anticipation of the meeting was enough proof of that.

When she was close enough, he rose his hand to wave at her, welcoming her forward. It would be rude to ignore her. He chuckled nervously when she made the comment about the temperature of the food when it came from the microwave. He remembered the way she burned her fingers on the cheese...and then he was thinking about the way he showed her how to fuck. Jesus. Why was that becoming such a big deal right now?

Henry swallowed hard as she introduced herself to his boyfriend and in turn, Sterling responded. He was being polite, which Henry knew he would be. And yet, he couldn't help but feel like his boyfriend was nervous as well. Why was he nervous? It wasn't like he cheated on Henry with the woman in front of him. He looked between the two of them and smiled. "Malia and I had an interesting meeting. Like me, she didn't know she was a were...but unlike me that she found out when she became human." He hoped Sterling would understand what he was saying. He had met Malia the night she became human for the first time. It was a far less dangerous way of meeting than meeting when he became a panther for the first time. "I've been trying to teach her things about being human." He taught her to bathe, microwave food, eat with utensils, try beer, and fuck. Damnit...why was that coming to mind again.

Sterling spoke up again, asking if they pack members together. Henry shook his head. "No, Malia is from a different pack." Ge left out the bit about pack rivals...it was a still a mystery to him whether he should be her friend or her enemy. He didn't understand why there had to be so many politics. "Maybe you can meet my pack sometime..." Because you know, it'll be where I'm shifting in front of you and trying to teach my cat how to not hate you. Yeah, it was not the right time to bring up that conversation. Maybe he should start the conversation like he just had â€" where he wanted to introduce his pack to him. He'd leave out the details for now.
