South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The buzzing she usually felt, wasn't thrumming anymore. Everything seemed to be quiet and settled. Usually when she took control she had difficulty holding on. Yet it seemed that her other side felt it was necessary to let her out. This moment was rare and she wasn't willing to ruin it. Although her moment of tranquility, running through the woods, was ruined by that hunter and his large pointy stick. That pointy stick remained lodged within her back although her whole focus on removing it was shattered the moment the pup appeared. The coyote smelled not like her kind nor did the smaller canine smell like pack, and yet it didn't matter. The feral creature was capable of having motherly instincts. Like all smaller ones it was necessary for them to get stronger, and what better way to do it, than feeding the pup. Fish was an easy thing to catch especially when her back and shoulders were throbbing. Just thinking about the pain only encouraged the wolf to attempt to get it out on her own, but no matter how hard she tried, she failed. Perhaps she should go home. The spotted one would help her get the pointy stick out of her. However, she was concerned that the green-eyed one would force her to go away and let the other one come forward. No. She wasn't ready to be locked away again.

Stretching herself along the ground she growled softly in agitation, unable to get that pointy stick out. The sound of the whimper made her lift her large head. Blue-grey eyes narrowed at the pup wondering why it was making that sound. Seeing the coyote paw towards her she released a soft bark. As the younger one walked towards her, with her belly on the ground, her ears twitched forward watching the other carefully. As the pup pressed and rubbed against her neck she growled softly, preferring not to be touched. Why was it making that noise and touching her?! Her snout would start poking at the coyote's stomach, nudging the pup away from her. One paw was raised and then smacked on the ground between them, silently indicating space. Yes, that would be just fine. She would stay where she was and the pup would need to stay over there. It seemed that her motherly instincts had a limit. Her jaws would part suddenly as she released a large yawn. Placing her head over her paws she released a sigh as her eyes looked away from the coyote and focused on the river ahead. Within her mind she was pondering her next move. If she went home she knows she would no longer be in control, and yet she needed that thing out of her, what to do, what to do.
