The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The young were more affected by the moon's cycle. As such, the last two days had been quite trying for the young mother. The twins were restless and being very much toddlers with their tantrums. Even her normally quiet and reserved little one, Micah, had joined in and flopped to the ground at one point in a fit of tears. The spring rain had made it even more difficult by restricted them indoors. Frost insisted he had work matters to attend to and was gone the majority of the time, leaving Nadya to grumble some that he was probably just hiding somewhere in a cafe.
Today there was a reprieve in that rain and Nadya had the twins outside playing in the backyard. It quickly became not enough room for them, whining and antsy once more. They needed to stretch their legs- they needed their feline form. Nadya had yet to take the twins anywhere on her own since that day she wound up in a hunters trap. At first Nadya attempted to placate them within the safety of that backyard but it was no use. She relented and led them just outside of the perimeter, stripping first them than her of her clothes and allowing the shift to crack and warp her form until the muscular ebony jaguar stood in its place. She used that connection that she built with her twins when it was just the three of them to aid the twin's shift until their chirps as cubs filled her ears.
Only then did Nadya lead the pair away from the house towards the woods. This time she was much more alert. The twins were oblivious to their mother's eyes and ears scanning as they loped around, weaving and pressing up against her. Even at 3, their feline forms were still hardly larger than a maine coon which at least meant they were still manageable. If they grew like wild cats and were already the size of her she would have had to admit defeat. A toddler brain in a grown sized leguar would have been far too much; especially if either of them turned out to have more of their father's personality.
Nadya's tracks slowed as they neared the creek, catching the scent of another as the breeze shifted. It tickled at the back of her mind begging her to remember something. A soft rumble in her chest caused first her spotted daughter then ebony pelted son to cease their play and brought them to the safety of behind her. The form of another materialized in her view and it was only with the addition of sight did the scent finally click. She had not seen that feline for many years now, the last time being when she was keeping Tobias from trying to eat her for stumbling upon her pack playing. Even though before she hadn't appeared to be much of a threat, it had been such a long time and she now had her young with her which meant she went no closer. There she stopped and regarded the other while her cubs remained pressed behind her with their curious gazes peering at the newcomer. "You've returned..." It was the only greeting she offered.
