The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

He did not care for sea turtles. Not truly. Whatever fractured confines of his mind remained hardly held room for any true sense of empathy towards the little creatures that flailed and flapped and teased at that predatory feline desire to bat at them or pounce upon them. That long spotted tail lashed easily behind him, Tobias content to spend that night taking out those predatory frustrations upon the gulls his mate assured him he was permitted to attack instead and yet- the boy only went so far. The lapping of the water against the shore readily saw his lip upturn in distaste. The Leopard's utter loathing of that liquid in every fashion seeing him pad away each time those waves threatened before turning those golden eyes back to glare toward it. Tobias subjecting himself to the beach only because Birdie asked it off him. That desire to please his mate prompting his presence tonight.
The idea of a race, however, was a far more appealing one. Tobias hardly capable of appreciating that miracle of life and birth as his mate seemed to be when it came to those sea creatures. A race readily tugging at those competitive instincts and the Beta's singular love of winning. Even over his own mate. His far heavier form however was not nearly so designed to race across that sand as his lighter mate. Tobias' paws sinking into that heavy sediment as he ran, Raven racing ahead of him before the wolf tumbled over that sand dune with a yelp. Tobias' own gold and blackened form halted upon that small rise as his head simply titled. The lanky deviant merely watching his mate collide with another man resting within the sand. Raven was quick to scramble to her feet, her canine form giving way to her clothed, human skin as Tobias merely continued to watch. A singular, low rumble rising from within the depths of Nightshade Beta's chest as those heavy paws carried him steadily forward and towards the pair.
This was a man he did not know, that scent that lingered between the taste of salt and sea spray assuring him all the more that this 'man' was no mere man either- but one of their own. Tobias' form content to step with an almost increased purpose and present dominance. After all, this might not be his territory, but that was his mate who lingered in the presence of the other man. Tobias far more prone to those animalistic instincts no matter which form he lingered in. His humanity a truly debatable thing in any sense. The large, jungle cat pressed easily against Raven's legs as he passed, that long tail wrapping around her right limb as he did. Tobias continuing to circle wide around the pair then, that gaze fixated upon the other man. His steps were hardly fast, his pace near lackadaisical and there was little that fractured boy truly missed in that blatant observation. Tobias, it seemed, not nearly so welcoming as his mate.
It was only once that circle had been completed that Tobias halted once more beside the curly haired woman. That Leopard skin abruptly giving away to human flesh. Tobias dressed in no more then jeans as he stood- his arms folding across his chest- those golden eyes giving way to near fathomless dark pools that peered out from beneath that unruly, near-black mop of hair. For several moments the boy merely allowed his head to tilt once more, as if further inspecting this other man. One hand suddenly reached outward to grasp a single lock of the other man's hair. Tobias lifting it between his thumb and forefinger only to release a near huffing snort of derision before dropping it entirely. His arms folded back across his chest as he turned abruptly away from the pair to stare at his own feet, irritable mutterings of no real words falling from his lips then. Tobias so widely known as by far one of the cities most powerful Weres and yet.....one of its least sane. Precious few so able to understand that deviant at all and yet, they so often feared what they did not understand. Several of those words at last made audible.
"You...smell.....like...beach."
That dark gaze abruptly cut up toward the other man then. Meeting his own before glancing away once more.Tobias seemingly suddenly fascinated with moving his toes within that sand. Those words fractured, broken, a mere stutter as if he struggled to get them out and yet he clearly anticipated an answer all the same. Those same broken words were offered a second time to the wolf-man and yet, this time, the towering young man hardly looked away from the ground, his eyes following patterns only he could see. One hand lifting briefly to point at his mate.
"This is....Birdie. She is mine. Why....are you.....here?"
madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
