The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. What good ever came from being loose lipped. "Of course. Every family has their shit to sort out, I won't make that worse." She uttered. She shook her head softly, no she was not that gossipy type, fluttering like a little social butterfly from person to person spouting all she knew to anyone she came across. What good ever came from stirring up the proverbial pot. Not a damn thing. She was a secretive creature with her hand of cards held closely to her chest, she had always been a lone wolf who had a knack at survival by any means necessary. But this place, Sacrosanct had been anything but what she had imagined and hoped for, a place she could keep a low profile. The idea was laughable now, the female wolf finding herself on the radar of not one but the two rival alphas. A smart wolf would have taken off at the whiff of such danger, but Mira was never one to turn her nose from a fight. Perhaps that was why this was a recipe for disaster especially when it left her vulnerable and without a true solid plan. The woman might as well have been a ping pong ball bouncing wherever this volatile place smacked her, she was aimless, without purpose. Now with these powers she could never fathom to control, she was lost.
There was something oddly vulnerable about the mysterious panther that stood before her in that very moment. She sensed it when she first met him, then again that uncharacteristic movie night. For as strong as he was he seemed like he was bleeding and unable to stop the flow. There was no question about it but he was hurting and yet he put himself on a limb once again, at any change he got. She could have been facing a very destructive reality at this very moment. In fact, there is a chance she could have been as good as dead. The raging emotions had settled somewhat too, and she didn't feel the draw to calculate her next escape. There was no reason too, not here. For some strange reason she would never admit out loud was that she felt safe, or as safe as she possibly could be with her internal organs bursting into lava.
The panther king had vaguely claimed to have the leverage he needed to quench the frigid stallion's desires to something less specific, like controlling her. "That sounds... vague and costly." She knew he wasn't stupid, in fact he was far from it but there was something that didn't seem quite right or add up. What could he possibly do to gain that leverage he desired. Why hadn't he done it already. It was clear that the cost would be much too high. Would it not?
She moved closer, slinking through what should have been darkness that had been consumed with he reddened glow. She was a fiery beacon within that cove and despite the circumstances she liked the way the rocks and Tetradore seemed to take on her molten glow. She felt her paws sink into the cushiony sand, saturated with sea water. It sizzles like hissing snakes as she walks, her paws create a billowing steam with each deliberate step.
She attempts to control that inferno just to prove she can, taming its volatile spirit as if trying to show herself and him that she could best this like she had everything that stood against her. Mind over matter, wasn't that the saying?
He peers at her while she approached, his emerald eyes are striking within the nights shadows that the rest of him seems to melt within. As if his very body was meant for the shadows she dared to chase away. The same shadows her very body used to blend within like a skilled huntress. But now she is striking against the dark, so very different from what she was accustomed to.
But the question that stood out, both surprising and impossible to ignore. That blatant stare down of possibly joining a pack so soon after she vowed she wouldn't dare. But what did the panther get out of her aligning her forces with him? Of course, she was a volatile force that could potentially burn the city to ashes, she was dangerous and a liability. His response was vague, cryptic as his very panther he was. All hints of vulnerability gone and there stood an alpha. A true Alpha. Daring and ruthless, strong without having to kill someone appendages to prove a point. Yet just as quickly his words take on a more light tone, teetering upon the line close to playful and possessive. She should have challenged it and yet..
"I suppose you are right, but you might get more than you've bargained.. In my current state I am a bit of a fire hazard. I don't suppose your boat is fireproof." She toys with the idea with a brush of amusement, the thought of life as she knew it was entirely crushed. What she didn't notice was the lava within her had stopped its fierce raging for a moment.
"But with these top secret concerns of yours, you might need some back up. So I suppose in a way.. need me." There was a slight pause, oh. "Someone needs to keep you alive." So perhaps that was a yes to this particular proposal. She couldn't quite pinpoint who was more foolish. Him for helping her and taking on the baggage she carried or her for leaping into another pack when she had sworn to travel her path alone.
