South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

THE LIGHT IS EASY TO LOVE

when you look into an abyss, the abyss looks into you
The loud growl he issues causes her ears to swivel back against her large head. Rude much. She hadn't growled at him. He didn't need to know one of the only reasons she hadn't was because she couldn't. She was offended. Slightly. A teeny bit.

Regan blinks her eyes at him, somehow managing to convey a heavy dose of censure. She did not appreciate the growling. No indeed. That gaze letting him know she'd let it slide this one time. The next time would be at his own peril. Or something along those lines. Eye contact with hidden messages was always hard to deliver. A little too much oomph behind the eyes made one look crazy. Not enough and one usually looked constipated or something. Regan was a master so she was sure, or quite sure he'd received her message. At any rate, no growly! Bad kitty! And suches.

The tigress watches as he steadies himself and flicks his tail. Regan's gaze following the motion and debating the merits of chasing said black tuft when his mind slides against her own. Instantly she stills. Her gaze sharpens and hones in on his face. She doesn't look so friendly anymore. No. Not at all.

It has been awhile since someone's mind has touched hers. Too long since she had any means of communicating. At this moment she is unsure whether to appreciate it's usefulness or shove the alien feeling presence in her mind from her head. The wind shifts, blowing the scents around them into her nose. She catches that hint of Raven again. The tigress grimaces and then gives herself a full body shake. As if the physical would somehow shake out the mental. It takes her a long moment, like a video buffering on a crappy computer. "Raven." Her mental voice is husky and musical. "Why Raven? Where?" Her communication skills could use some work. Then again, she hadn't spoken aloud since she was a child.

The tigress moves away from the lion and then back towards him. Her tail lashing with unease. She does not like the idea of this male near Raven. Where had Tobi been?! Was her friend in trouble and hurt again? A broken grumble rattles inside her chest but doesn't ever really leave her lips. Regan flicks her gaze back to the large golden male. She wants answers and wants them now. It would be in his best interest to give them. Sooner rather then later. Or now. Yeah. Now sounds good.

Regan moves closer, chuffing bokenly. She hadn't realized how much she had missed her friends until she scented Raven but couldn't see her. Slowly, she moves the length of his body, her long obsidian tail curling around his steady forearm as she moves past. Regan jerks away from him, grumbling silently and glares at her tail. Stupid thing often had a mind of its own. No touching the male. No. Bad. Things. All the things.

"Thinks like this."
