South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

She couldn't believe how much fun she was having with her new friend. Hard to believe she had found someone to play with that she couldn't hunt around. She was using to hanging out with predators, save her alpha, Frost. This was refreshing in a good way. Abigail was so focused as she climbed on Malia's back. It was adorable. She slowly straightened up, wanting Abigail to be settled before she moved. The last thing she wanted was for her friend to fall off her back. She smirked as she felt the little creature flop on her back as her head nuzzled between her ears. It reminded her of when she played with the pups in her former pack and they jumped all over her and rode on her back.

When she mentioned finding more butterflies, Abigail said at least they found one to pounce on and Malia nodded in agreement. "Right." She watched the lone butterfly intently as it flew up and down and around the trees. She was determined not to lose sight of it. When she asked Abigail about a pack, she said that she knew a polar bear and her parents were Were's. Malia nodded. "Yep, that counts as a pack. I bet playing with a polar bear is amazing! How big is he?" She could only imagine. She'd seen plenty of them on tv. Abigail got all excited about Malia knowing a WereHorse. She smirked and shrugged, careful about moving her shoulders cause she didn't want to lose Abigail. "He's okay, I guess. He's my alpha. He's a good teacher but he doesn't show a lot of emotion." She listener as Abigail talked about the goats. "I've never seen a goat but on tv. They look pretty tough." She couldn't help but grin when Abigail tried to make the sound the goats make.

But then she was successfully distracted by Abigail pointing out the butterfly going over a hill. She sped up her walking but tried not to jostle Abigail. As they made it to the field though, her eyes went wide and she paused, gasping as all the butterflies fluttered around. There were so many of them! She nodded along with Abigail as she yelled. She didn't know where to start. She glanced over her shoulder. "Want a boost from my back or did you want to pounce from the ground or a nearby tree?"
