Henry Tudor
the beast within
Henry wished that he could communicate to him. He wished there was something he could say other than some growls/roars/purrs/meows. It made him appear as though he was nothing short of a housecat and yet, what other choice did he have? He was unable to tell the man not to fear him and he was unable to tell him even the most basic things like his name.
The man seemed to understand a little bit, asking if he was trying to communicate with him. The panther's head bobbed slowly, confirming that he was, in fact, trying his best to talk to him. He was scared and alone and he felt like maybe this human was too. Perhaps they had more in common than they really thought.
He stood and took another few hesitant steps towards the man, trying to come closer and yet stay far enough back so to not scare the man. When he spoke again, giving them some sort of code to communicate with, Henry nodded his head and it was followed quickly by one growl.
He wasn't sure what this man wanted to talk about or ask him. The fact that he could only ask "yes" or "no" questions would prove to be a boundary for communication, but at least it was something. At least he might be able to be heard. What other choice did he have?
At least now that he knew the stranger was willing to talk, Henry came a few more steps closer towards him before he sat himself down in the sand just a few feet from him. Blue eyes searched the stranger as he waited for his very first question.
