South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Sebastian Ellington-Aragona

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

That childish scream seemed to pierce the once tranquil night, setting his senses on high alert. His gait increased, the vampire near rushing up that dune only for his crystalline blue eyes to survey the scene of his fallen maker and an entirely baffled young woman. His inquiry of what happened was perhaps far more demanding than the Italian Prince intended as he scooped the child into his arms. The respective tone to her voice caused his eyebrows to furrow. His lips pressed together ever so slightly before Sebastian turned towards the girl, commenting softly in French in an effort to calm the screaming Anna-Marie. Her shriek seemed to abruptly cease as she shuddered in his grasp, only to open her sapphire gaze to eye him bewilderedly. An equally as perplexed look crossed Sebastian's own features before Anna-Marie climbed out of his arms, that fit over just as abruptly as it had begun. It was a wholly peculiar tantrum, leaving Sebastian almost unsure of whether or not he should be concerned. The vampire watched in an almost hovering fashion as his maker began to circle the innocent young woman, fearing, perhaps, for both of their safety. After all, Anna-Marie, though she had certainly gotten...remarkably better of late, was not known for her tendency to play well with mortals.

He hardly interjected, however, as the child reached out to touch the woman's hair and then her face. The last thing he anticipated, truly, was the sudden smile upon Anna-Marie's features. Surely that was a good sign, wasn't it? Sebastian cleared his throat at the French words the child offered the woman, making an effort to translate it. "I believe you remind her of someone." The Englishman informed the woman, though why such had prompted such an immediate reaction continued to baffle him. Discovering anything of value behind his maker's past had been...exceedingly difficult. A weak simper crossed his features as Anna-Marie offered him a pleasant grin all over again as if the encounter had not been terrifying nearly moments before. This, it seemed, was something that Sebastian had to simply accept just as he did so many facets of the far older vampire. It was, however, the girl's sketches that intrigued him perhaps as much as it had the child. His own husband, after all, was an exceptional artist in his own right and, in turn, Sebastian had seen his fair share of both art galleries, pencil sketchings, and painted masterpieces.

He glanced down at the sketchbook Anna-Marie held within her hand, only to correct the girl gently. "Ma Petite, you should ask before taking someone else's things. Do forgive us Miss, I fear she can be...overenthusiastic." He searched for the right word to explain his maker and though it fell drastically short, Sebastian made every effort all the same, entirely aware that his newfound status of royalty required some level of...decorum from them both lest the woman recognized him and complain to the media of a screaming child and less than pleasant Prince.
