The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

iliana amaranth
She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;
Iliana professed how she spoke to animals, all too content to call the jackal silly. Because to her, he really was silly, silly enough to almost prompts a giggle. Yes, he was a little grumpy with his growls and she wasn't sure she forgave him yet for slaughtering of the poor little rabbit. The blond woman could not help but wonder what else he ate in that forest, she surely had to be too big to be considered on the menu, right? But that hardly crossed her mind as a giggle finally escapes her. He wrinkled his nose at her, exposing all those teeth again in an adorable and yet somewhat terrifying version of a smile. It only coaxed a wide beaming grin find her lips, flashing her own pearly whites at him, as if emulating his own smile. He liked being called silly? That seemed silly in itself! "Is that what you would like to be called?" She asked, tipping her head in genuine curiosity whilst that smile still lingered.
Immediately when the points of her ears were brought up, her cheeks bloomed a rush of blush pink, her fingertips instinctively moved to cover those ears. It was a habit, to try and conceal herself from the very world at large, trying so desperately not to draw too much attention to herself. That was why she so lingered within the forest's depths, the animals hardly cared what she was, they just excepted her for her. The canine talked of meeting another fae and her eyes near widened at the thought. "There aren't that many of us.. I can't believe you met one! I met one once but he was scary like your worst nightmare kind of scary." She had run so fast and so far away from that fairy she could barely comprehend if he was truly bad or simply looked frightening with those menacing wings of his. Plus, she needed to keep Mr. Crow safe and sound and it was very clear her raven disliked that man.
Then again, he disliked nearly everyone.
When the jackal shifted into the boy, he was a different beast entirely and that's what made her steal a few small steps back. She could only feel the prickling nervousness start to flourish and bloom within her chest. Like a swarm of butterflies fighting for room to fly away. People in general made her nervous, it was why she was so prone to enjoying the comforting company of the animals she swore to serve and protect. But a half-naked man? She was hardly prepared for, especially when he so easily and confidently plucked the carrot from her finger tips. She could hardly hide that consuming surprise that lingered upon her shocked face as she all but froze, gawking at him like he had sprouted horns. All whilst he just watched her with a certain smugness dancing upon his masculine features. It was impossible for those betraying cheeks to not grow into a vibrant shade of pink. In fact, she was hardly aware of it!
How the pale haired woman was is in over her head, not that it took very much at all to accomplish such a thing. She is content to call him whatever he wishes. The meaning of sexy hardly held the same meaning it did for pretty much any other person in the world but her. She suddenly blurts out that comment about his muscles as they were all but glaring at her in the face, like they smiled and waved. His hand ran over them with his a caress of his hand and she averted her gaze. The very action only made the sweet fae woman only feel even more embarrassed. She was barely comfortable around people let alone.. this! That was when he invited her to..... touch them. Her eyes widen probably larger than that rabbits eyes did before it perished. She froze as if not knowing what to do in that very moment, her cheeks firing up once more. Not that it was difficult to prompt such a reaction from the young, innocent fae. "I.. I don't think so. I was told they bite." She hardly wanted to get bitten as she shook her head decisively. She liked all her fingers thank you very much.
"I don't really get hungry.. ever.. I don't even need to eat food if I do not want to.. But I do like food, a lot. I guess I am not growing anymore. Is that weird?" She tipped her head in response, asking quite genuinely curious what he thought of all of this. Maybe that's all she was... weird.
She could hardly help her eyes drawing to the carcass of that rabbit once more, still feeling bad for her fallen little forest friend. Even though it was the way of nature, nature could still be cruel. He very kindly covered it up with the leaves and debris with his foot. The fae's gaze elevated until it met the warm coco hues of his own. How all those guts and raw bones didn't hurt his stomach in this form was all but bewildering! He so easily leads that conversation, shifting it to that conversation to one of her most favorite dishes around. She near squees in genuine delight as his mention of spaghetti. "I LOVE SPAGHETTI! It makes my tummy feel so good." She declares proudly. "Especially when they put mushrooms in there!" A firm nod unsettled her wild hair, allowing those pesky points of her ears to peek out just barely from her parted hair.
The notion they could be friends, seemed incredibly exciting to her. Even though he made her feel a little nervous, she could hardly deny the way his eyes widen with his own eagerness. What she doesn't expect is when he closed the distance between them, grasping that dainty hand in his own, brushing it to his lips. She could hardly help that bashful look she gave him, that all too shy grin dancing across her rosy lips. She never thought in a thousand years she would befriend a jackal! His excitement is infectious, she could hardly deny it. "My silly new friend." She declared proudly as he allowed her hand free once more and she allows it fall to her side gently. Such confidence he had! He wondered where he kept it all! She could hardly comprehend that sly look, merely passing it off as just being as happy as she was. She was quick to find the genuine goodness in all those around her. "Do you promise?" She inquired.
Their conversation sweeps by, right before her eyes. Even as she admitted how she wasn't so sure of this human side of him. He inquired if she referred to his human side. She nodded careful to not look at him in the eye for too long. She couldn't exactly pinpoint why. But he seemed eager to reassure her and truly, she believed him as gullible as that sounded. She nodded at his words, smiling sweetly, entirely oblivious to that wolfish grin he possessed. He was part wolf or canine so it seemed like it suited him. It was the sweet sentiment of it made her instantly like him. Not a hint of judgement in him when he said those very words. At least he was certainly not mean. Perhaps it was that comment alone had her blurting out loud. "I forgive you now. Even though she was sad she hadn't made it in time, she was certain that Marcello was intending to harm the rabbit, he was just hungry and doing what canines do.
She described his eyes in that were form and then like on command his eyes seemed to catch fire! How she gasped, forever impressed by how he could control it. It was like magic and how she adored such a thing. "YES! That's exactly it!" She chirped excitedly. She clapped her hands together! Drawing her now clasped hands to her lips like a child who was filled to the brim with wild authentic excitement.
"Nice!" The pale haired fae declared, obviously impressed. "My blood doesn't do anything interesting like that. I was told my blood is special once, but I am pretty sure it's just blood." She drones happily, she would happily blab for hours like the song birds did in the tree beneath the morning sun's embracing rays.
"I suppose we should find you some? Or do you keep your clothes hidden... somewhere? Unless you walk around like that normally. Then that's ok too, I think." She scrunches her nose, nodding her head in agreeance, she wasn't exactly prone to saying no and he was now her friend who she could trust. She couldn't even imagine prancing around with her sun kissed skin exposed for the whole world to gander. No not at all.
"Really??" She squeaks happily, her eyes cradling such delight that they nearly twinkle like silvery starlight. How could anyone resist spaghetti? Certainly not this innocent fairy. She watches intently as the youthful boy crossed his heart, which brought a dainty giggle from her lips. "You have yourself a deal." She bravely took a step forward, reaches out her hand like she saw in the movies to shake on this declaration of his, meeting his eager eyes for only the briefest of moments to shy to merely keep it for too long. How so akin she was to the prey animal he so easily captured.
