South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Despite the hunger which drew the little vampire to the fae child, she was able to ignore it enough to attempt some form of interaction with the girl. Surely she could help the fae conquer those monkey bars. "Yeah...chalk." Those sapphire eyes watched the girl rub her hands into the sand they stood on before taking off to those monkey bars once more. This time the fae successfully made it across and that spark of glee in her eyes wasn't missed by the observant predator.

Perhaps she could make something more of this girl than a meal. Anna offered her name in turn, a subtle tug upwards at the corner of her lips the only sign of a smile of Maeve's compliment at her name. She did enjoy her name too...how princess it sounded as what better thing was there to be other than a princess? Anna's gaze cast one last quick glance around the rest of the playground to ensure no one else was watching before telling Maeve about her home. Well, her old caretakers home. "We can have real tea...but you have to be careful cause the pot gets really hot...and heavy." She had only attempted to make the tea herself for a personal play tea time and ended up burning her hand on the pot which resulted in dropping it to the floor. Such a mess had been abandoned for the cleaners to find. "I have lots of cookies to pick though." At least there was no shortage of sweets to choose from the cupboards.

Anna teetered back in preparation to lead Maeve away from that playground. Maeve insistence that she was supposed to wait caused a frown to mar her features. "Why do you have to wait?" Clearly there was no adult she came with at the park. Anna had figured her an easy wanderer. The small vampire shifted in indecision, feeling frustrated at having to wait to play since she just had to wait to eat as well. "I don't have parents." She answered simply, no sorrow in that tone as it had been many centuries since she would have known that feeling anyways. "Sometimes I go see my Sebastian. He could make us tea for our party?" She supposed she could take Maeve to his place instead. Surely Sebastian would have no quarrel to making them tea so she didn't have to attempt it again.
