South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya remained within the secluded oasis beneath the waterfall, keeping her concentration on her power, ensuring it was reaching as far and strong as she could. It was more like letting go, the barrier of control slipping away to let that familiar hum run through her veins. Tobias' cry of frustration and fear wasn't lost on her and it took all her willpower not to give in to him and leave her spot. She had to give her power time to work and see if it would be enough to drive him to overcome the fear or she'd never know what it was actually capable of. That and she was never one to obey such a direct command from him. A soft smile plays across her features though as her acute hearing picked up the splashing of water that wasn't the waterfall as Tobias battled his way through the liquid. His shadow came up on the waterfall, regarding it, testing it, quite obviously frightened of it. "Almost there, Tobi." Nadya remained still, letting only that single encouragement guide him. She was more than entertained quite honestly on Tobias' antics, barreling through the water and clinging to the rocks as if it were a life vest. The water barely reached midway on her rib cage, leaving her chest well above the waterline, and nearly a half foot lower on Tobias so there was no way he could drown.

"I know you are." Nadya giggled at the darkness in his eyes, so easy to read his emotions in those dark pools, always varying in their hues depending on his mood; now near pitch black in the entangled emotions of anger and lust. It wasn't much different than how he looked before any other time, their game always having started with some fight or another anyways, except she hadn't made him face a fear before. Nadya didn't fight Tobias as he pulled her against him, her curves pressed firmly against the hard lines of his masculine frame. She could feel the difference, how the plentiful amount of food had finally worked and filled him out to the healthy toned frame he ought to be. "You win." It was perhaps the only time she had ever acknowledged him at winning something, and may be the last. His lips claimed hers, searing and dominating, familiar and expected as there had never really been anything gentle in their coupling. Her dress clinging to her form became more noticeable to her, soaked and uncomfortably clinging to her curves, and briefly she thought she should have divested of it before entering the water. However, there was always that possibility that if she had taken the time to do so then Tobias would have grabbed her before she could have gotten into the water.

It was an anger and frustration at the world and each other that took over and became a physical manifestation in these moments, each simply seeking their own gratification at the same time. It was like a fire in her when he touched her, almost like the familiar burn as her body worked to shift forms, creating a fog in her mind that made it hard to think. But she had to go against the grain of what was normal for them this time, had to force her mind to not get lost in it which was very difficult indeed. Nadya could only hope that Tobias would be too distracted by 'claiming his prize' to notice the differences, how her hands swiped over every inch of exposed skin of his chest and back, clearing away the dirt loosened by the water, before scraping her nails leaving angry welts in their wake as normal. His hair which she loved so much curled and gripped in her fingers, feeling the silkiness of the locks beneath as the dirt washed away. Now at least she could say her power had some use, that perhaps there was a possibility to use it to also teach Tobias things the rest of the world had while he had remained frozen in time such as reading and writing.
