South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

we built this city on broken glass

Nadya's insistence that those new, fake names they had been assigned for this leg of their journey were akin to the name of a bad customer or his grandmother readily prompted that light roll of the stallions eyes. The names that came on this fake passports, after all, were hardly up to him but rather merely whatever that manufacturer made at the time and yet, he supposed, he could see Nadya's point in that. They were decidedly...old names, if nothing else. Frost brushing the thought aside for now. The sudden appearance of that group of Hunters within that bustling airport saw both Frost and Nadya stiffen in turn. That equine, despite his exhaustion, readily reaching to assure that affinity for illusion still embraced them both. There was, after all, little room to run in the airport and more so- the building was filled with not only innocent beings- but airport security in turn. The entire building capable of being shut down. His equine form decidedly useless in those confined spaces, surrounded by people and upon those slippery, polished floors hardly designed to allow hooves to grip. Nadya leaned readily into him then, Frost allowing his own gaze to follow that group as they passed through the crowd and into the security office. The man momentarily relaxing before directing Nadya towards that ticket office with those plans for the next part of their journey. Frost holding every faith in her ability to acquire those tickets while he kept his own eyes firmly upon that office the Hunter's had appeared into.

Nadya's insistence they stick to first class readily prompted that faint simper to his lips, Frost nodding his agreement before watching his mate make her way towards the woman at the desk. The stallion shifting his attention between Nadya and the place the Hunters had disappeared in an effort to keep an eye on everything that occured around him. How very much he looked forward to reaching Cyprus- if only to sleep. That tiredness tugging at him still until he could near feel it behind his eyes. The sudden blaring of those airport speakers readily jerked his attention upward and towards the nearest of those large screens plastered throughout the airport. Frost aware of Nadya returning to his side as those pictures of them, both in human and Were form, readily graced each and every screen with that large 'wanted' sign painted across the top. That voice over insisting they were wanted, dangerous criminals. Great. He would need keep up those illusions for far longer now. They could hardly risk anyone in the crowd, after all, remembering and recognising them on the plane itself. Did he even have the energy for that? He would have to find it, he supposed. Those words upon the speakers were effortlessly translated for Nadya then. The woman insisting in the very least those claims agianst them weren't exactly wrong. Frost supposing he could hardly disagree with that. Nadya's assurance he simply had to keep looking 'fabulous' prompted the lift of one eye before that ticket and passport was thrust into his hands and her arm linked through his own.

"Are you sure this is going to work?"

He had never seen Nadya's power fail before and yet he had rarely seen her attempt to use it upon so many people at once. Still, he was so hardly in any position to turn down her assistance. His own energy levels distinctly....low. If Nadya was capable of further assisting them then he saw little need to stop her. His companion nothing if not practised with that easy, casual smile. Nadya possessing an ability to relate to other people he simply did not have. Frost, unlikely, to ever truly possess the skills to engage people in the way she did. His nature not inclined to it. Frost content on most occasions to find other people to be a source of irritation. With Nadya's assistance they made it readily to that boarding gate. Frost, for the first time since he could remember, looking forward to that flight if only for the rest it provided him. The stallion sinking readily into that first class seat with every intention of reclining it backward as soon as they were allowed. To simply be off his feet, even for a short time, felt very near heavenly. He was aware of Nadya reaching for his hand then, Frost easily allowing her to toy affectionately with his fingers. The man momentarily basking in that very victory they had won today. That simper finding its way to his lips at the thought as he lent further back within that seat. His gaze turned to briefly to glance out that window. One day, perhaps, he might be able to....return to his country. How very much he missed it. How much he wanted to...live here again. That faint sigh drawn from his lips all the same as he turned away. Those icelandic words reaching him then. Frost, in that moment of exhaustion so hardly seeming to realise that Nadya had spoken them. His thoughts near slow to align.

"Ég ... hvað?" (I...what?)

That very reply was cut short by that momentary look of bafflement. Frost's head jerked suddenly back towards his girlfriend then with clear surprise. This one of the first time Nadya had ever attempted his language, let alone managed to speak it correctly. Where had she learned those words? He was assured he had hardly taught them to her. Had she learned to speak Icelandic in the short time they were here? That seemed....decidedly unlikely even with her aptitude for languages. Frost content to continue to stare at her several moments longer.

"Hvað sagðirðu? Er.....that is, what did you say?"

He corrected himself hurriedly, translating those Icelandic words back into English. Had she truly said what he believed she had said? That 'I love you' surely words they had both thought before and yet neither of them had yet ever uttered them aloud. Frost finding himself near surprised by the very...emotion that seemed to cause within him. His mother, perhaps, the only being whom had ever truly said those words to him. Frost never having anticipated hearing them from another- even his own girlfriend. Foolish though the notion seemed. That very emotion, for once, daring to seep through that carefully controlled mask and play upon his features. Something akin to....vulnerability and a baffled confusion lingering upon his features. Frost entirely unsure as to how to accept that gesture. Even though he desired to. The stallion simply lacking that ability to know how. Yet- how effortlessly he believed those words too. No part of him questioning that Nadya meant just what she said. His lips parting several times and yet he was silent for another moment still. Those words coming at last.

"I know."

After all. He did know she loved him. He had known that for....some time. She hardly needed to truly say it. She showed it unlike anyone else had ever done. Every kiss or touch or simple act of....care towards him with proof of that. Frost having become determined, over time, to afford her that same consideration. Showing someone you loved them, after all, was somehow easier then saying it and yet, despite himself, that surprisingly warm simper found his lips all the same. That violet gaze finding her own.

"I love you too, Naja. I have for a long time."
