The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Raylin Chike
Raylin is still distracted by Tim's demeanor that she's watching the bartender with hawk-like eyes, a slight glare so entering her gaze, though the man hardly looks her way when she wanted him to. She very nearly wants to scoff at him and yet, she doesn't, her attention turning back to Colt as he speaks up, just catching a glimpse of that shy look after she had spoken about leaving the bar with guys. A small smile stretches across her lips as she leans forward, he was cute and so very innocent, the woman disappointed that Tim was being so protective. She wants to say just that and yet, he defends the bartender saying that he was just worried about her. This causes her eyes to roll in their sockets and her shoulders to shrug, "Well, he doesn't need to be such a dick about it," she mutters more to herself than to Colt. Fetching her phone from her purse she tries to shove it into his hands and yet he denies her, wanting directions instead. It was something she could easily oblige him with so with a grin, she shoves that ancient phone back into her bag.
Their conversation eventually turns to the ocean, Raylin's obvious joy coming from such a singular and powerful thing as she talks about it. Colt's smile only enticing her that much more to talk about, though she holds her tongue, hardly wanting to go off on a tangent. She very nearly wants to offer the stranger surf lessons! Something she had thought about in the past, a good way to make money and yet, she never did bite the bullet on it. The slamming of the glass has her jumping, eyes wide as she whirls on Tim, annoyance clearly written across her face. For a moment she stares after him before her gaze finds Colt again, her attention going towards that alcohol that just about disappears in one go. Her amazement is clear on her face as she questions him, his response causing another giggle to fall from her lush lips, "Makes sense," she responds readily as she brings her own beer to her lips and takes a sip, not really wanting to chug the rest of the golden liquid in her cup.
After awhile, Colt allows her to touch his fangs, her fingers tracing the hard material as her curiosity grows. How interesting! She had never seen a vampire like him before, his canines were massive! Raylin was hardly disturbed by his teeth, rather, she was incredibly fascinated. She's only yanking her hand back when Tim shouts and drags her away, the girl stumbling after him as they angrily converse before she's back in her seat, the girl having no idea how very close the vampire had been to biting her. Nor was she aware of the hunger that so plagued him in that moment. Offering up an explanation that she would be staying for another drink, she finishes that beer and shoves her arms into her sleeves before leading the man outside. As she quickly begins to give him directions, his automatic use of 'M'am' has her laughing as she pushes her pink hair over her shoulder to glance back at him. Ray merely looks at him for a moment before returning her attention to the streets, distracted by Colt's searching. What was he looking at?
What she doesn't expect is his cool hand to grab hers, Raylin momentarily surprised as she trails after him. His words gather her attention as she looks up at the back of his dark hair, "Oh yeah! I know Moorbank Street, I have a friend that lives a couple blocks over, I have to take it when I want to go to her house," she prattles on, providing useless information as they come to a stop, her eyes following his hand that points to the sign. As soon as he releases her hand, it only takes her a moment before she's pointing to the left, a wide smile stretching across her lips, "See? That wasn't so hard!" She exclaims with another laugh, her eyes glued down the darkened street as she takes a couple steps forward, "If you want I could just walk you to-," she's abruptly cut off by the iron band that so finds her waist, her body being pulled flushed against his cool chest. A small sound of surprise so leaves her lips as she remains unmoving for a moment. She doesn't struggle, simply because she doesn't know, Raylin's brain taking a few minutes to catch up to the situation and then, she reads it entirely wrong.
Still she does not struggle, the girl entirely breathless as his fingers trail up her neck, leaving goosebumps in their wake, his cool fingers pushing her shirt to the side to bare more of her skin. She doesn't hardly notice the way his grip on her tightens, Raylin practically leaning into him as Colt trails his tongue along that bare skin. The girl can't help but let a soft moan escape her lips, her very body seemingly heightened in the vampire's presence. Perhaps it was the surprise of what he was doing or perhaps it was because she found him adorable in that Southern kind of way. His voice finally snaps her out of it, her hooded lids flicking open as she listens to him. Though, she's still far too distracted by his arms wrapped around her, she doesn't notice that change in Colt, the girl still thinking him to be an innocent southern boy. "Mmm, I only give them something after I get what I want," her words come out a little breathless, the girl now attempting to turn in his 'embrace', she wants to face him, to capture his mouth with her own and yet, she can't move. Colt has such a firm grip on her that the more she seemed to struggle, the more tightly he held her.
Still, that panic doesn't come, Raylin still believing she's relatively safe in the arms of a stranger. Since she cannot move, she shifts her body suggestively along his chest, implying by what she wanted for the evening. Tim would gather her things and she could get them back first thing in the morning. It was as if her very thought of the bartender summons him, the man storming around the corner, eyes wide with fury as he takes in the sight, "God dammit, Ray! I told you not to go anywhere with him! Don't you realize he's playing you?" he growls, Raylin flinching at the sound of his voice, her eyes finding Tim standing several feet away. "Jesus Christ, what's your problem?" She snarls back at him, Colt still holding onto her as she glowers heatedly at her friend, "It's not like he's going to eat me," she snaps, her head tilting back to look up at Colt. And what she saw in his features is the first time she felt wary in the vampire's presence, her whole body freezing. This was not the same man that was in the bar moments ago, it was Colt but it was as if he had flipped a switch, the man almost seeming darker somehow. A thrill of fear sweeps through her, though she hardly allows it to linger, "Colt, I should go back with Tim before he has a conniption," she urges, very nearly wanting to struggle out of his grip.
"Let her go, asshole. I have the whole bar just around the corner so unless you're going to slaughter us all, I suggest you get the fuck out of here," Tim's voice rises to the challenge, eyes blazing fiercely. Whether he was being truthful or not remained to be seen, Ray tossing a look at her friend, he wasn't helping, the vampire able to crush her in a moment if he truly wanted to. "He's being dramatic, let's just do this another time, sound good?" She asks, keeping her voice level, hardly wanting the man to know she saw something in that predatory gaze of his.
