The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. How that boat groaned and shuddered against the friction of such a massive beast, unfortunately using, HIS boat as some kind of scratching post. For all the warlock knew was he was trying to SINK his boat. How it made him brim with agitation at the thought. The clearly distressed Brennan was so entirely convinced that his ship was under attack by water demons! They must have crept free from that portal nestled deep within those woods. How sure of it he was. That Irish warlock near bristled at the fact that his sailboat was almost at the mercy of an unseen creature below in those dark watery depths!
Not if he could help it!
No one, absolutely no one fucks with April Rose and lives to tell the tale.
How quickly he loosened those sails and sprung to action, leaving the boat suspended, motionless within that vast obscure ocean, miles away from land. Barney too, seemed itching for a fight as that menacing beast began his vocal assault of barks and snarls, his tail poised upward like a scorpion tail poised to attack, raising it upward like a battle flag. That roguish warlock seemed ready for battle, brazen in his attempts to lure the beast out. That final jerk of that ship nearly sent both man and beast into the water which in turn only causes the Irishman's angry voice to raise ever louder. He reached out to desperately grab on the ships railing to brace himself as his ship shuddered again. Thankfully, his faithful hound was able to collect himself too and not fall into those waters.
Not another boat was in sight except for maybe a distant barge, set on a quest across the ocean. Everything was still so far away. It wasn't long that Brennan possessed a speared weapon within his hands, that sharpened tip seemed ready and thirsty for blood. "Show yourself!" The man bellowed, that voice commanding as a sea captain should.
Suddenly, the water seems to give way into a murky shape of black and white. A spray of water burst from the water's mirrored surface as that massive beast breaches. It was a god damn killer whale. Not a demon. It could have fooled him. Brennan's face was still contorted in his anger, even as he met the eye of the intimidating beast who seemed to shift shape right before his very eyes. How he could barely hide that near comical shock that riddled his face as man and whale merged into one. He looked like the epitome of a disproportioned merman, that tail barely visible as the.... Man, if he could call him that bobs in the middle of the ocean brushing his hair from his eyes. Serafina would NEVER believe this.
How short lived that complete surprise was until the sea man spoke again over the loud prattling of his dog. How he scoffs, tossing that spear aside should he need it later. He supposed he could conjure another if he truly had to. His hand reached out to hold onto the side of the boat while that man-beast began to carry on and on, he was going to get a god damn headache between the barking and whatever that creature was in the water.
"Barney boy, just relax, let me deal with him." That voice warns, snapping his fingers and pointing to a spot just behind him then. That dog's eyes all but glowering at the 'man' in the sea before obediently moving, his near all black eyes never once leave the man, his expression practically murderous.
"I would do more than chop you up in little bits if you harm my boat, flipper." There was almost a dare in those words as an antagonizing smile spread across his lips, his free hand running through the stubble on his face in consideration. A sigh escapes the man then, trying to figure out what question to answer first.
"No orcas, not like you. Not this time of year." He replied simply, eyes narrowing, almost unsure he could even trust his own eyes. "I saw some dolphins, which is strange, they usually prefer when its warmer."
The orca-man seemed wary, cringing, keeping his distance of Barney and he should, considering the sheer ruthless brutality that canine was capable. He might not have looked the part of a hellhound, but it hardly changed what the big brute was! Yeah that is right lad, keep away. At least until he could determine what the hell he was.
"Yeah, he is scary fishman... and don't think for a second he won't tear you up like confetti and eat you slowly if pull that stunt again. He will be the least of your problems if I find out you harmed April Rose... even a scratch I will hunt you down, slice you up nice and thin like and fry you up with a lot of butter. I've never had whale before but I hear it's a lot like fish... Don't fuck with my boat." Barney could hear that irritation in Brennan's accented voice and whined a sound much like a rusty door hinge.
"If you have an itch, use the ocean floor or a damn boulder. So what the hell are you?" That irish lilt sprang easily from his lips as the roguish warlock demands an answer as he stared down the man full of smiles.
