The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

iliana amaranth
She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;
Andras didn't seem so utterly terrifying when he smiled, no, he nearly comes across pleasant. She scrunches her button nose at that very thought.
She nods her head in a nearly vigorous fashion. He understood! While she isn't surprised, he agreed with the strange little creature, Iliana is certainly quite ecstatic by it. It at the very least opens the doors for the peculiar, sweet little fairy woman to truly listen to him and his case about his cherished gemstone. She offers him a rather coy smile, those metallic eyes peering at him with a curiosity rather than fear, even despite how short lived that would be. It was truly anyone's guess. He tilts his head in an almost inquisitive fashion and she mirrors that very appearance, only she tipped her head upon the opposite side that he did. He looked better this way, slightly crooked, she decides. His voice reaches out to her softly, almost like he told her a story. It has her listening fully, blinking slowly at the mention of family. "I... um.. yes, I think I would." She looks down upon the emerald clutched tightly within her grasp, a reluctance to simply give it back... She had gifted gems, she never once gave one back that she had pilfered. Not once!
How that sudden sound of a giggle escapes her, such a bright and lively sound that weaves through the cool air. Her! A dragon? Who would have thought? She beams at him, flashing him a wide brilliant smile. She had never been called fierce before! What a splendid thought that was. But that very mention of her cave worries her straight to her very core, as if a chill rippled right through her very body. That was her cave, that very cave that had been kept a secret. Only a very select few, who mainly consisted of forest creatures knew of it, those very friends often times left little offerings in exchange for snacks. Andras claims she lead him right to it and she reluctantly supposed she did! How bad of her, this was very bad. She backs away, slowly, feeling the brush of a large tree, the rough texture of that bark felt calming in a way. Oh she hoped the whispering forest would give her strength not to flee. He knew too much. What to do. What to do? "Don't.. please don't tell anyone." She peers at him with wide honest, pleading eyes. The tree could be her protector, she was sure of it. How close she was to ducking behind it, how close she was to fleeing. Yet, she doesn't.
It was Andras that seems to save that very moment, the very mention of her feathered obsidian companion has her once again melting that impending wariness. She was as flighty as a doe! One wrong move and she would have bounded off into the tangled depths. Surely she was faster on foot than such a large imposing creature? Regardless, she was hardly rude, responding to him with a newfound ease. "Maybe, Mr. Crow seems to do what he wants, which I like. He is always full of surprises and sometimes, he comes back with the most fascinating tales. Did you know... he once saw.... Oh no I couldn't possibly tell you." Her cheeks seemed to flush, her fingers toying nervously with the tree bark. She then blurts out a random but not to random fact about her raven companion, Mr. Crow. She found those obsidian feathered creatures so very fascinating. When excited, the woman found it so very hard to focus on any one thing in particular.
How easily her questions seem to flow and he answers them with a rare kindness. Patience. How those very traits did not go unnoticed. She might be an excitable little creature but she was far from.. stupid. Well, most of the time. Yeah, he was big and tall and looked like a scary dragon bat thing. But he didn't seem so bad, no not at all. How quick she was to find the good in him. His grinning seems to make his face look, less menacing and she studies it for a second, while her eyes narrow in that careful consideration. The dark fairy's voice pierces through that clearing then, not in a mean way, no he seemed far less scary this time. Iliana seemed to hold that gemstone far loosely than she had. Her eyes flutter toward his massive wings again as her mind seemed to shift off course once again, wondering if they got cold when he flew in winter. She wondered if HE was cold, now.. His torso was completely exposed.
It was his words that has her wandering gaze return to his own. He mentions a place, a seemingly wonderful place and yet she could hardly help but be dazzled at the very prospect. "Is it safe?" She questions so curiously, she seemed apt to want to believe him. The sweet little pale haired fairy wanted to believe everyone, especially when they seemed so very nice. "I was sent away because it was not safe... the bad men came and cut off fairy's ears in the middle of the night." She looked around almost nervously, remembering those haunting screams, remembering how well she had hid in place no one would think to look. She would never forget the smell of fairy blood, she swore she could almost smell it now if she thought about it for too long.
Andras fortunately saves her from those unsavoury thoughts when he mentions treasures and she draws forward, away from that tree, her feet almost tip toeing across the forest floor. The sound of jewels and rare gold pieces. What??? How she nearly forgets herself then. "You said its massive? How massive are we talking?" She pauses, his words reach for her again. "You would do that? For me?" How incredulous her voice was in that moment, her face clearly matching such a thing. "I would love to see you're fairyland! When can we go?" She nearly yells in her swell of excitement, looking around as though she might suddenly just appear there. "Where is it?" How she wondered if it rained there.. She adored the rain, the feel of it on her skin.
"I would like to give you... a something." She nods as abruptly as those words find her then, perhaps, she was never meant to have such a precious emerald gem. Iliana took another step forward and then another, before reaching out to hand him that once pilfered necklace. Little miss impossible.
A look suddenly crosses her face, horror at almost forgetting her cherished companion. "Wait.. I can't go unless.. Mr. Crow can come to." Those demands however, were unnegotiable.
