South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The last thing he expected was company. The kids were bad enough but now this chick was walking up out of nowhere and apparently wanted the other swing beside him. His head was pounding by this point and he rubbed at his temples, trying to make it go away. He glanced up as she reached out to touch the chains, seemingly wary as if they might hurt her or something. It didn't take him long to figure it out. He'd once been a very learned man of other species. "Don't worry. It's not iron." He muttered to the girl, putting his head back down to continue rubbing at his temples. A fae, just what he needed. He listened as she sat on the swing, but it wasn't long before he heard crackling noises. Curious, he glanced up, only to see ice spreading up the chains. He scowled.

"Don't you know how to be discreet?" At this rate, it's a wonder she's still alive. Was she just showing off or could she not control her own powers? He snapped his head up as someone shouted, groaning as his head throbbed at the girl's shrill voice. He couldn't help but smirk a little though at the comment. He glanced back over at the woman beside him, wondering how she'd react. The woman let out a disgruntled response and she got a number of glares for it. The child was crying now and he scowled. Couldn't it cry quieter? Thankfully they left the park right after. The woman beside him had become a side show, the air freezing and he actually found his body shivering as he glanced over to see snowflakes in the air. When she turned to him, he scowled. "Damn, woman, can't you control yourself? I didn't dress for this weather. Calm it down."
