South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

something wicked this way comes

There was no denying that the warlock beside her was growing more confident with each step, the man altogether lost in the ecstasy of that drink, chasing away those very desires for death that had once so prevailed in his mind. Admittedly, Serafina was glad to momentarily chase away that despondency with that feminine giggle upon her lips. She reached out, letting her fingers run along his jawline. "I dunno about pretty....you'd look hotter without all this....beard..." She commented aloud, her nose wrinkling as her finger pulled away to boop him lightly on the nose, the young woman hardly caring in the slightest for the curse words uttered behind them. Rather, she glanced over her shoulder to provide those stumbling men with a glimpse of her tongue in a playful gesture, the girl all but ignorant of the thoughts that crossed the warlock's mind. Christian's sudden stumbling near sent her tumbling into the side of a building as they passed, only for the man's hand to raise to pat her head in an almost affectionate gesture. That girlish giggle once again afflicted her as she all but beamed at him, after all, he had just called her pretty, hadn't he? Sort of?

Serafina was all too quick to further tug the man after her, that mission for drinks hardly forgotten as she dodged with some stumbling down an alleyway. She was hardly prepared for the homeless man within his castle of cardboard, the woman almost thankful he'd hardly popped out of his boxes for her and yet, that fright he gave her was quickly forgotten in the wake of those neon lights that so brightly glowed at the overside of the alleyway. Her awed stare hardly lasted long, however, as Christian stumbled out into the road, the young witch all too inclined to follow him as he all but refuted her protests to wait. Really!! He was an awful gentleman! Serafina blundered after him, her own gait hardly as fluid as usual and yet, she still made it, in one piece into that bar. Her gaze shifted as Christian pointed out a couple from the bar they'd only just abandoned, the pair clearly recognizing them in turn even as Serafina tried to hush the man, assuring him that those ghosts were still following them, even though she herself was almost unsure of it. It hardly mattered, either way, as Christian so swiftly refocused upon that prospect of drinks and, without hesitation, the young witch all but stumbled after him, near falling into her own chair. How she would surely regret this tomorrow!

She watched as the bartender plucked that credit card from Christian's fingers, just as she ordered her own martini with exceedingly more effort than usual. The bartender's judgemental gaze hardly phased her in the slightest, however, her own attention easily focused upon Christian entirely. The young witch was all too quick to return that forward lean, only to prompt a sly smile upon her lips. "If I told you my favorite color, then you wouldn't have to guess." She informed him with a gleeful grin. "I'll give you a hint. It's not black." It was, she was certain, a rather good hint. After all, there were only so many colors that were popular these days at the stores she shopped. Frankly, she had to admit she was almost curious to see what sort of girl he thought she was, underneath it all - quite literally.
