The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

iliana amaranth
She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;
It was a sunny day within the depths of the damp tangle of the forest, despite the nip to the springtime air that she was content to ignore. Yet when the sun hit just right, it would heat you like a furnace. The canopy above nowhere near thick enough to blot out the thawing sun, so Illy so relished in that very warmth upon her skin seeping into her bones. It felt luxurious. Given a few more weeks and that would surely change to actual warmth! Not that any of that mattered to Iliana. The blonde fae was simply happy for her world to be painted in green again, soon the flowers would awaken and the animals would have more than enough to keep themselves sated with the abundance of foraging that a flourishing awakening spring so promised. She could feel it on the wind, that promise for more. It brought a sigh of contentment to her all the same.
If anyone had asked the sweet, gentle fae where her favourite place was, it was this. Lost somewhere in the woods with the animals that would not hurt her, almost akin to a fairytale, almost familiar to her... but lacking that potent magic, despite harbouring some of its own. She had grown rather timid as of late.. from her run-in with a red eyed vampire boy that seemed to haunt her mind. Never had she met someone so... lost.. so angry... so mean. Yet while her thoughts remained curious in nature, she could not help that fear nestled somewhere within her. No more night time forest walks, she had promised herself since that night, at least for a little while. It was an impossible task, the woman knew she could hardly stay away from the night. The sweet lull and the call of the moon, while not a creature that was bound to it... She was seemingly seduced by its allure.
But for now, it was about just after lunch and Mr. Crow, her obsidian raven companion was kicking up a rather big fuss over a skinny little fox that entered their clearing, clearly not thriving and in need of help.. It's meek little body trembling from cold, its body wet, which caused the fae woman a cause for concern. "Stop your nonsense.." She demanded of Mr. Crow. "You were once in need of help too."
'IF he were to give you rabies.. I will not have it..' The comment all but seething with judgement and a snideness that made her frown. That comment of rabies, seemed to make the silver fae to pause, remembering her words. She turned to gaze toward the shivering fox.
"Don't listen to him little red... Mr. Crow has found himself in a rather rude mood.. I won't hurt you and certainly he won't." She cast her raven companion a rather convicting look... one that she couldn't even hold for long, despite the silent warning she offered him. Iliana, removed her coat without thinking, her body heat still clinging to that comfy warm jacket she placed down on the damp ground before her. She produced several items from her bag, so the fox could nestle into her jacket for warmth and enjoy a meal. It was better than nothing, she thought. Should the creature trust her, she could give him more, but for now, this would have to do. She spoke to the fox once more, her voice laced with kindness and a silvery light that matched her long hair that fell down her back.
Mr. Crow hmphed at Illy, giving her a look that could very well kill...... a mouse. 'do you have anything in there for me?' he then questioned. That question alone, Iliana seemed to draw out a gleaming a wide smile at him, a light laughter falling from her lips before she took out some berries she placed, open lid beside her. Not long after, the fox seemed to make himself at home.. nestling into the warmth of her jacket.. She ignored the bite of the wind upon her bare arms, content enough knowing that at even if her jacket would be filthy that... she could be there for the little creature.
She rubbed those bare arms softly, those appendages that revealed dark purple bruises of matching hand prints, spattered across her lower arms, the one on her bicep seemingly the worst of them all. The vampire boy had certainly left his mark on the fae-woman... those reminding marks looked all but angry and still hurt to the touch. Those marks were left behind in anger and cruelty... and yet even then, Illy seemed to be completely oblivious to it.
It certainly did not stop her from jumping in fear when she heard a noise behind her.. she sprang to her feet, nearly knocking over those berries. She twirled to face the sound. "Who...Who is there?" she questioned, met with 3 pairs of eyes.... Facing the direction of that sound that alerted her of another's approach.
