South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The playground was far more active during this time of the day. Anna normally wouldn't have even come out of the shadows had she not seen the fae girl hanging on the bars. It was far too hard to lure one away for a meal with so many eyes on them so why bother at all? That wasn't fully the intent with the other child now. Of course it had been in the beginning due to her hunger but she had teetered so precariously wanting to play as well. Thankfully Maeve had been a willing participant and struck a more playful side of Anna than the predator.

Anna carefully picked her way across the playground before scaling up the side of the structure and creeping across the top until her head stuck over the edge on the side Maeve played. Those soft calls for Maeve's attention took a few seconds to register but in time those violet eyes turned up to meet sapphire with a blooming smile. Anna watched as Maeve pulled herself to the top of the monkey bars to sit perched on them instead. The little vampire took one last glance around at the edges of the playground to ensure whatever caregiver Maeve came with wasn't about to rush them before lowering herself onto the bar opposite the fae. Although there was a difference in age, with the malnourished times of history Anna had barely more than an inch on the other girl. Perhaps that was another reason Anna drew so easily to her, a fellow supernatural child of similar size.

"It's too early for a tea party." She knew very well that Sebastian did not hold the ability of daywalking like she did so getting in to his place would be impossible at this time of day. Though she didn't even think about that simple statement being odd to others as if there was a proper tea party time. "Do you know how to do Miss Mary Mack?" Anna tilted her head quizzically as she held up her hands for the quintessential children's clapping game. "You start like this." She crossed her arms over her chest touching her shoulders. "Then pat your legs...then clap your hands together...then clap like this." Each step Anna demonstrated all the way to criss crossed clapping Maeve's hands and then together. "Like that." Anna smiled broadly. "Now we do it with the song." Anna crossed her arms once more over her chest before beginning to sing. "Miss Mary Mack Mack Mack, all dressed in black black black..." On she sang while clapping along with Maeve as she had just shown her.

Anna dissolved into soft giggles at the end of the song. "I know lots of clapping games. Do you know any?"
