South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It can be hard to imagine, but there are some benefits when it comes to an individual suffering in a world of continuous cruelty and agonizing isolation. They had the capability to endure with others outside their small window of socialization. At times they could block out such terrible things from their minds, whatever mistreatment they had suffered years ago or just that morning. Always they kept to themselves and never allowed anyone else to witness or hear about their troubles. These broken individuals would rather keep these terrible things to themselves than have anyone else be aware of it- if only for their benefit. In their train of thought it could be said that they did not wish to feel like a burden or allow others to see a tinge of their venerable side. Always they protected themselves, even among those that wouldn't harm them at all, but that was a silly thing to believe. Everyone hurts everyone regardless if one was friend or foe. It was a harsh lesson they learned every day. Had Raven known what Tetradore had went through she would have found solace in his presence. However, the young woman wouldn't really voice out her past just as he wouldn't unlock whatever he wanted to keep hidden. Damaged people can find one another and subtly find comfort in each other- whether they knew or not.

She hardly believed the panther would be willing to play with her, especially in their predicament, but she was glad to see he seemed quite content to indulge her on this play. Growing up she was not used to playing around, but spending time with Alexis and Tobi provided her that small dose of delight through the activity of games. Hide and Seek was one she learned to never play with Tobi. No matter how hard to hid, or what clever spot she had taken, he always seemed to find her in record time. Even when she did everything to mask her scent, cover her tracks and head downwind, he could still find her. It was not fair. Though she did enjoy playing anything that gave her the chance to chase something. It was a drive, an instinctual pleasing thing that allowed the woman to do what any predator was capable of doing, to chase was to live, and any game that involved this action was greatly appreciated. As soon as the two armadillos were swatted in his direction she noticed a familiar action of his form lowering and his backside swaying side to side. Any canine could understand that he was in a play bow and if he could play along then it was appropriate that she do the same. After all he was the one in charge and she knew it even if she was not in his pack or not. Some Weres just naturally had that display of being an Alpha anytime and anywhere, and she was used to following others around.

While she remained in the positon to receive the armadillos, muscles were taunt ready to spring at a moment's notice. As the first balled up creature was swatted her way, she would jump upwards in anticipation, knowing full well that there was still another creature that could possible head her way. Grey trimmed banner swayed side to side as she watched the first one head her way, without moving from her spot she caught it between her grey paws. Though her attention remained focused on the big cat seeing his paw pointed in a different direction pointing towards the critter heading for the other direction. Without thinking she sprung forward running for the creature and happily pouncing on top of it. Gently her muzzle would press into the creature making sure it was fine before lifting her head. It was at that time she noticed the panther was bounding towards her from the direction of the hole he had created within the cage. Slowly she would get up and ignore the balled up terrified creature taking a few steps to meet the male halfway. Her dial tilted to the side curiously as all play was etched out in her standing form. If he was alert then surely something was up and all things fun were gone.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
