South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya could tell how comfortable her twins were with Ashton and that emboldened her to act on that telltale scent that marked him as a fellow Were. Normally she wouldn't pry unless it was brought up but she was truly curious on where he stood. It seemed new Weres were moving to the city every day. She had heard of her brother's pack growing, the band of misfits, so it was always a possibility that those she ran into could be in his. "You're not the first lone Were I've met." Nadya answered easily.

"There may be some budding packs but the main ones are Nightshade and Chimera. My brother is the alpha for the Nightshade that lives in the Ark which is a fighting ring located on the West. My mate is the alpha of Chimera and we all share a home in the residential district. They both have their...personalities- rough around the edges." She shrugged slightly. She didn't go any deeper into how she came into being with a different pack since wasn't it often that eligible members left their birth family to seek out making their own family? The complexities of the past wasn't something she'd care about going into at the moment. If she chose to join a pack then he'd find out then. She turned her attention back to the twins. Not another word was said about it and instead encouraged her children to continue to follow Ashton's lead.

By the end of the hour, Nadya was impressed to see Izzy in the water, holding onto Ashton but confident enough to be separated from her mother and attempting to paddle with her teacher's help. Micah was far less adventurous as he clung to the ledge of the wall. At least he was in the water without screaming. "I think you two earned that ice cream." Nadya beamed at them as she helped to pluck them from the water and wrap a towel around each after getting their trainers vests off. "Thank you again. And, if you ever are interested in meeting the rest of us...you know how to get a hold of me. Same time next week for swimming?"
