South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

we built this city on broken glass

It was satisfying to near...feel that tension and disquiet within Nadya's mind and that bond they shared as packmates fall quiet and return to its usual, peaceful state. Nadya it seemed had found herself reassured by his words. Frost having meant each and every one of them. Emotions were difficult at the best of times and yet that hardly meant that he did not recognise them within himself. Those feelings he held for Nadya were potent and determined as they had always been. That love she feared they had lost hardly having strayed. Rather, it seemed, both of them had simply....misread that situation, perhaps. Neither truly understanding those emotions within the other. The sheer relief Nadya seemed to feel so readily prompted the faintest touch of a simper to Frosts own lips in turn before Nadya lent upward to steal that kiss from him. The stallion was all-too eager to return that very gesture. If Nadya still desired his child, after all, he was near certain that kiss was the mere beginning of creating it. How easily those very desires were stoked by the taste of her alone. Frost pressed all the more firmly agianst her then, Nadya coaxed to lie back upon that blanket as he lent easily over her to steal his own kiss. Nadya's hand pressed momentarily to his chest before sliding up and over his shoulder to toy with the fine white hair at the back of his head. That very gesture alone prompted a simper to his lips once more before she suggested he should hardly start what he couldn't finish. That use of his real name was nothing short of appealing.

"Oh, Naja, I am certain I can finish it."

It had been....weeks since they had been properly intimate. Frost inclined to find those desires nothing short of demanding then- even if the location was somewhat unanticipated. His insistence that the children would need to stop sharing their bed was one Nadya seemed to meet readily then- even if she desired to talk more about their son. Frost long since having come to think of the boy as his own, even if, biologically, such a thing might hardly be true. Nadya's assurance they could talk about Micah later saw the stallions press his lips softly to her jaw before moving only further down her neck. The press of her figure agianst his own nothing short of tempting. Nadya's sudden reminder about that food prompted Frost's own gaze to shift toward that spread, his lips stealing a final kiss agianst the warm skin of her neck.

"It is hardly food I am hungry for but- I don't entirely trust someone not to walk up that trail either. Tonight though- I will finish what I started."

A soft chuckle rose within his throat, those words as cool as always before the Icelandic man rolled smoothly to the side to rest upon his back beside his mate then- his hand reaching idly for one of those sandwiches only to pass it over and towards Nadya. Frost taking another for himself a moment later as they lay side by side in a truly rare moment of peace and simple contentment, his shoulder resting agianst her own.

"What did you want to tell me about Micah?"
