South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

He could watch her for hours in the Beachside Bistro that she'd built from scratch. It was always busy and she spent more hours in it than away from it. He missed her every time she was gone but he knew she was happy managing that place and seeing the happiness it brought to so many in Sacrosanct. She was living the dream and he loved watching her live it. She was like a light in the darkness, a dream worth dreaming. He knew that she didn't get along with her father back home and she was trying to prove a point. She was from a life much different than his own but he was proud of everything she'd accomplished. He was glad she was proving her father wrong. He tried to stop by as much as he could, grabbing a quick kiss and sitting down to eat a biscuit or bagel and drink a coffee, just an excuse really. She'd hate him if she knew he wasn't really much of a coffee drinker.

He just did it to spend time with her. Then when he felt like he was getting in the way, he would pay the bill (plus a good tip) and give her another quick kiss before dismissing himself to the house to do some TLC on the yard. Overall, he thought the place looked fantastic. He'd poured so much work and sweat into it that it had to look it. He had accomplished pretty much all of Townsend's to-do list and even added some extra steps of his own. Okay, so maybe he was trying to impress the Englishman, but he would do anything to get in his good graces if it meant spending more time with Adelaide. As it were now, he was heading to the Bistro to pick her up for some kind of surprise she had for him. He was a little nervous, to tell the truth, but he never turned down spending time with her. He parked the bike in front of the Bistro and patiently waited, watching as the last minute customers finished their food and left.

When she finally stepped out in jeans and a familiar black leather jacket, he couldn't help but grin, his green eyes twinkling. "Well, well, who is this beautiful specimen?" He teased as she saw him. His eyes couldn't help but roam her figure from head to toe, a brow arching at the black leather boots she had on. She really did clean up nice in anything. "You are a sight for sore eyes, darling." He smirked roguishly as he leaned back on his bike and admired the view. "So, you going to tell me what this surprise is or are you going to make me tickle it out of you?" He raised a brow, daring her to try him. She had to know he'd do it.
