I have traveled through madness to find me
Raven's efforts to explain that the area in which the ducks sat was a 'no eating prey zone' only furthered the scowl upon the young mans features. Tobias was inclined to please his mate and yet his disgruntlement over those ducks was surely clear before a small, reluctant nod solidified his understanding of the manner, even if he disliked it. Stupid ducks. His dark gaze narrowed slightly toward them then. Tobias inclined to prevent feeding them any further bread before his mind turned towards that notion of hunting for their own meal. Those fractured, twisted thoughts that turned within his own head had so seemingly fixated upon that unborn baby- to some extent. The boy gesturing towards Raven's stomach before inquiring what that child desired. Tobias had, in the very least, so seemingly come to accept the baby as a living being- even one outside of his immediate sight. This nothing short of a vast improvement upon his usual level of understanding. The man so often incapable of perceiving things he could not see so immediately before him. Raven's insistence of deer, however, seemed to spark some measure of delight in the shaggy haired devint. Raven stepped forward then, her hand grabbing his own, to lead him back out of that cabin and towards the woods once more.
"Deer, yes."
His head nodded readily as Raven released his hand once more only to allow that shift to overcome her. Tobias paused but briefly to do as Tetradore had, finally, managed to teach him after so many years. The gangly deviant steadily beginning to remove his clothing rather then merely tearing it apart with that shift in form. Putting those discarded clothes in a neat pile, however, was a task the boy had not yet mastered. His shirt and jacket and jeans was merely tossed haphazardly behind him with little regard for order before his boxer shorts were stepped out of and kicked backyard. Tobias, free of that clothing, finally allowed that shift to overtake him as well. Tetradore, he was sure, woud be very pleased. He would tell him, yes, that he had not torn up the clothing. Tobias' gaze shifted toward Raven then in some clear search for further praise before the wolf moved forward to brush agianst him, her form beind down in a play bow. That very action one he had become used to over the years. His own paw lifted to bat playfully at his mate in return. Tobias leaping forward a moment later to break into a steady lope with Raven fallen to his side where he was certain she belonged.
It was hardly difficult for the spotted fiend to summon his own abilities. That talent for finding whatever he desired so readily seeing the boy change course to lead them towards the nearest deer. That talent so readily removing any need for sight or smell as Tobias led the way through that forest and towards a large, open clearing. The Leopard's pace readily slowed, Raven easing to a halt beside him in turn before her muzzle pointed up the the tree branch above, her instructions prompting a soft chuff of agreement from the boy before Tobias proceeded to bound effortlessly up that tree to settle upon the lowest branch as his very species so often did. The leopard distinctly....at home within that tree as his claws nestled within the depths of the wood.
"I am....ready."
Those very thoughts were pressed toward his companion as Raven circled below, the wolf nestled within the depths of the tall grass and tree shadow as she readied herself to charge towards the deer that grazed at the edges. His very command sent raven charging forward, the wolf flying from the undergrowth with teeth bared to panic the deer into charging. Tobias' tail lashed behind him, the mere sight of Raven charging so readily exciting those predatory instincts a deep, low growl reverberated within the depths of his throat. Raven's teeth snapped at the deers heels, driving it slightly to the side as Tobias slid further along that branch, each muscle coiled tight in readiness. The young man, in this, nothing if not perfectly patient- before he leapt from that branch. Death from above. The sheer weight of the leopard crashing down upon it was enough to snap the deer's spine near instantly. The flailing animal collapsed beneath him with a final wail. Tobias' claws, buried within its flesh, were slowly retracted as the leopard stepped away from that kill to settle beside it. That relaxed, easy hold to his figure so readily inviting his mate to share that meal with him as his teeth tore into flesh. The young leopard nothing short of satisfied . That predator within decidedly well soothed and wholly content with Raven beside him.
