South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The scent of fear was an intoxicating aroma for any predator. It did not matter what kind of predator it was. All it took was just a tiny bit of the scent to be tasted and it would do nothing but simply create a the drive within the predator to destroy whatever terrified creature nearby. The scarred lupine was always a kindhearted creature one that did not want to go down a violent path. A glimpse of hope that showed anyone that abuse couldn't strip away everything. There was concern in her eyes for the boy, that human side of her wanting to stop it in a kind manner, but there was another side of her that was struggling to remain this calm. Her primal mind had other ideas to stop the weak creature before her to exposing its fear, and there was only one way to get rid of it. When the male used harsh tones at her, grey trimmed ears fell back in an apologetic way, her intentions clearly weren't good enough. Blue-grey eyes shifted to Tobi knowing full well the boy was never one that enjoyed being told 'no.' But before she could try and sedate Tobi into a more corporative state she had felt a buzzing sensation in the back of her skull. The environment around her warned her she was in an unsafe place. She was surrounded by two males, two males that were unhappy, and with past experience unhappy males led to her getting hurt. Raven had no control over herself when she succumbed to her other half. It could be said that her feral mind was like a twisted and dangerous version of self-defense. Yet neither male was a true threat. One was nothing but a venerable and weak human. The other was a very close friend that she was still learning how to trust. When Tobias came back around and slapped him at the back of his head, blue-grey eyes narrowed as the lupine gave him an annoyed and disappointed look. A rough snort her response to his lie. Painfully her voice would slip out weakly, attempting one last time to at least keep the boy from doing something stupid. Although which boy she was protecting from their stupidity could not be said.

"Please...calm down...."

Her cranium would lower as her lithe frame began to slowly shift. The sounds of bone breaking and moving filled the summer night air, her frame rising in unnatural height. The wolf now the size of a bear. A low growl rumbled within her chest as she looked to the human now, the scent of fear overpowering whatever small piece of humanity she had left within her. As the boy leapt from his boulder crashing and breaking his guitar. The scent of blood reached her nose as black lips pulled back to show a row of her sharp, deadly pearly whites. The boy was foolish to use his broken guitar as a makeshift weapon. Jaws parted as a warning snarl seeped out, ebony hackles rose up as one giant grey paw slammed the broken guitar from his hands. Her form moving to put itself between the boy and Tobi. A part of her knew that her fellow Were could handle himself well, but the fear and blood mixed in the air, along with him standing in a threatening way and brandishing a weapon was the very last thing to drive that feral mind of hers down its dark path. His shouting words didn't do him any good either. Standing at full height the feral wolf took a step forward. Her broken words seemed deeper and gargled as they slammed into his mind, human language not something the feral mind could make on its own, perhaps the very last attempt the human side of Raven within could give to the boy, a bit of guidance perhaps?

"Run...get to River...and you safe..."

It is best if he started to run, the River just down this hill. Surely the boy could make it...all he had to do was run downhill. It is best if he took her advice.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
