South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Leaving Azrael in the in the living room with her mate didn't bother her. The Dark Hunter wouldn't do anything to him. Not when she scolded him earlier. And she didn't expect her deviant companion to harm Azrael either. As she changed her clothes in her bedroom, she would stop a few times to listen for any sounds of a commotion. Returning to the living room dressed, she was pleased to see that everything seemed in order. After telling her husband that she would be gone, and reassuring she'd be okay, she grabbed the towels and blankets and headed over towards the front door. After leading him to the car, she lifted the blanket and towels for him to take, wanting the leather car seats and Azrael to be dry. It was surprising that for all her mistreatment, the young woman was still capable of being kind and considerate to others. Her head would tilt to the side slightly when he mentioned he could get himself dry. When Azrael suddenly ran off, she took a quick step back, a bit shocked by his action. Briefly, she saw the bright light within the part of the woods he ran off to, and when he came back, she was shocked to see his clothes were no longer soaking wet. After she took the blanket and towels from her, she moved to the other side of the car and started getting the car ready to head out. Once he entered the car and she felt comfortable to take them out, she gently took the luxury car in the direction to their new destination. It wasn't every day someone asked for her opinion, especially Azrael. With a soft snort and an eye roll, she listened to the Dark Hunter prattle on. With a gentle voice, she defended her Alpha's disposition.

"Tetra isn't a dick he just isn't that social, like you. As for Frost...he's..."

And here she would pause momentarily. Frost was not very nice man at all. With their history, Raven hardly had a positive word to describe him. However, she couldn't deny that he had some capabilities that she could admire, and quietly wish she had. He wasn't an idiot though. Shrugging her shoulders, and with a guilty tone, she responded in his defense...not that he would care.

"A bit difficult, sure, but not a jackass."

As if to mentally rinse her mind from the realization that she defended him, she shook her head, kept her eyes focused on the road. As soon as the tires met the pavement, she gently increased the vehicles' speed, as the engine purred in delight. If there was one thing she would remember from this moment, it was that compliment in stating she was sensible and trustworthy. With a mental note, she filed this memory away, knowing one day she would have to remind the man of just what he thought of her if he stated she was the opposite of sensible and trustworthy. Boy would he hate to relive this moment. After driving for a while, she noticed his gesture for the exit, and with a quiet nod, she easily guided the vehicle in that direction easing off the pedal a bit, just in case there was an unexpected turn she would need to take. When he decided to speak up again, she would frown in disapproval, at the idea of going into their lair. The idea of being surrounded by them gave her an uneasy feeling. This must be what Azrael felt like when he would come close to the Ark. Just what was it the Council wanted to discuss about her own kind? Waiting for his next direction she gently tried to pry a bit more information out him. Raven wanted to know exactly what she was being led into.

"So, what are they saying about the Were population, that you disagree with. And...why are you concerned that I might do something that would make them upset?"

i'm not ashamed of my scars,
i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.
