It was sheer luck Arya had managed to keep herself from fainting the moment a very naked Zach reached out and grabbed her. Any other woman might have screamed, much like that other woman who had merely had the unfortunate luck to see the man leaving nothing to the imagination, but the small woman found herself practically short circuiting as he spun her around. Of course she'd inadvertently seen naked people before, it was inevitable as a Were and having swam on a highschool swim team, but never someone so unabashed as to actually reach out and touch her while they were naked; the mid twenties girl was still very much a virgin. Her normally pale cheeks were a searing red, and if you held your hand over them you could feel the heat that emanated from them. In all honesty, it probably looked like she was suffering heat stroke with just how badly she was blushing and then her falling backwards after he releases her from his spinning embrace did not help her look as though she was feeling well. Luckily for Arya however, Zach doesn't seem to notice and simply continues on with his exuberant behavior, not seeing the poor girl floundering in her embarrassment on the sand.
For a moment, there is calm after Zach puts the clothes she bought him on; it was likely calm before another storm, or the eye of hurricane Zach, but it was better than moments before with a naked man. The small woman even gets to chime in with her own teasing words about her companion assuming she was an old lady. His response however quiets her again, a mixture of curiosity and a hint of sadness seem to cross her face. Were young people really mean to him? The Wereseal had always found things to be the opposite, that it was older people who were usually rude towards her. It was quite surprising to find another difference between the two of them. Yet she has little time to think on this before she is sent mentally tumbling once more. His sudden insistence that she was cute left her more than a little flustered. For a moment, she likely looked like a poor idiot, staring up at him with wide, shocked eyes while her brain failed to form a cohesive response. Any other person, with confidence, might have responded with something witty or flirty, but the compliment was so blunt and out of nowhere, that all Arya could manage was a simple thanks. Thankfully for her, that was enough for the man as he quickly shifted his focus onto something else, saving her from her own embarrassment and having to fret any further on it.
The WereOrca is quick to grab her petite hand and drag her along up the stairs to his current mental fixation. The small brunette woman is left to tumble behind, desperately trying to keep up with significantly smaller legs as Zach practically sprinted up the stairs. It was truly a miracle when they reached the top that she had not fallen and taken a face full of concrete. As he releases her hand, she nearly doubles over, out of breath. Arya looked like she had just survived a hurricane, still rattled as her companion prattled on with enthusiasm at his makeshift tour guide. Amber eyes watch him curiously then before she offers him directions, her body instantly bracing and waiting for him to grab her hand once more and drag her along, but it doesn't come. Instead, and quite lucky for the small girl, the distinct sound of a stomach rumbling saves her from being pulled towards the shops that had held her companion's attention mere seconds earlier. There was an instant wave of guilt that came with the sound for Arya, he was hungry because of her. While it was a good thing he hadn't eaten her, she hadn't exactly offered him any alternatives to make up for it, and the last thing she wanted was for her new friend to go hungry. So she points out where some small food stands are located and surely still open, not expecting Zach to grab her hand so quickly and once more drag her off. All she can manage is a small yelp before she is pulled down the sidewalk like a poor puppy being dragged along by an over excited toddler.
There's little Arya can do to stop her companion as he pulls her along, dodging people along the walkway until they made it to the asphalt that the shops were located on that had even Zach pausing. She barely even notices he has released her hand once more as she nearly doubles over in an attempt to catch her breath. The WereSeal was not designed to run, even in her human form, so this was more exercise than she was capable of. She barely hears Zach call out something about hot dogs before her amber gaze glances up to notice him zipping off once more, this time without her.
As she reaches for her pocket to dig out her wallet to pay for all the food, she squeaks in surprise as her face is once more enveloped in massive hands. The last thing she had expected was for Zach to notice the redness in her cheeks now of all times, let alone touch her. And then he went so far as to put his cheek against her forehead as if he was testing her temperature. It only managed to make her face blaze even hotter.
Arya is quick to slide past Zach then, desperate to put some distance between them and hurry up and pay so she can sit down before she passes out. She quickly digs out a $20 from her wallet, mentally sighing as it was most of her food money for the week and meaning she would either go hungry or have to fish in her seal form in order to eat until her next paycheck...not that she would verbally complain, she had no problem helping someone else out even at her own expense. After everything is paid for, Arya quickly grabs her hot dog, amber gaze looking around.
