South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

There's no saving me.
I've become a shell of the man I was. Only time will tell if I'm strong enough.

His physique tore through the undergrowth of the forest, the panther content to merely run in a way he so rarely did. For once, there was no fear coursing through his veins, no adrenaline or frantic need to escape from some dark hungry force cutting through the trees behind him. For once, the Alpha was given a chance to simply be free, and how eager he was to relish within it! He darted with ease amongst the beams of moonlight, entirely aware of Tobias' paws pounding against the earth behind him. His ears flicked, the jungle cat entirely aware of his pack amongst the equally as alive forest. A single word was uttered towards his Beta as the feline deviated away from the well worn path and towards the tall, towering trees where he belonged. His powerful haunches propelled him upwards, his claws dung into the bark, leaving grooves within his wake as he leaped upwards and onto the branch, altogether aware of Tobias at his heels. The felines climbed higher and higher, moving with purposeful grace through the trees with little consideration to the distance they gained from the grounded canines.

It was a haunting lonely melody that caused the were-panther to pause upon the sturdy branch he stood upon, his ears swiveling erect upon his head and towards the source of the sound. Mira. He knew her voice from anywhere as it echoed within the night, only for a second, softer sound to join her own. The emerald of Tetradore's gaze turned towards Tobias before his own jaws parted, a roar erupting from deep within his throat. Tobias was all too quick to join within that peculiar melody - the spotted leopard's roar transforming all it's own into some high pitched, nearly painful yowl. The Were-King's tail flicked behind him in a faint hint of amusement before his head shook, "You...definitely did." A chuffing sound echoed upon his lips in some feline attempt at a chuckle before Tetradore turned his attention back towards that assent - the cat only furthering the distance between the pair of groups with little realization of the danger that lurked in the shadows of the night.

He was oblivious of the vampires that moved downwind of them, stalking the women with single minded intent. He was unaware of his girlfriend's instincts that shouted something was wrong even before the undead made their move. In fact, it wasn't until the whole affair was over that the Alpha became even slightly aware of the kerfuffle in the first place. Her voice was weak as it crossed that invisible string that bound Tetradore to each member of his pack - those words somehow garbled amongst thoughts of pain and hurt that were all too familiar to him. Vampires? Had she said...vampires? He froze abruptly in the midst of movement, the panther precariously standing upon a branch nearly too small for his weight as he sniffed at the air. His head shifted to the size, his ears listening intently before, faintly, he could hear it - something crashing through the undergrowth. Raven.

Fuck.

Tetradore leapt off the branch he had been standing on, the panther easily changing directions as he landed upon the forest floor below. Without even a word uttered to his Beta, the Were-King broke out into a dead run, sprinting amongst the trees and over fallen logs with a sort of honed, deadly grace. They were nearing Raven - and the vampire that raced after her. A glance was given over Tetradore's shoulder towards the Beta he knew was behind him - his head nodded briefly in the general direction of the sound, even though he was equally aware that Tobias would have likely peeled off to care for his wife even without Tetradore's unspoken permission to do so. Mira. He had to find her. The scent of the undead was far more poignant now, but so too was the awful smell of burning flesh - it like a veritable beacon to the Were-King as he raced through the undergrowth with little concern over whether or not he informed the vampires of his pending arrival.

Tetradore nearly crashed onto the scene, the feline leapt through the trees only to collide solidly into the vampire that had been standing over his girlfriend. Already that acidic saliva bubbled at his lips, his teeth bit down hard upon whatever he could gain purchase on as the vampire flailed beneath him, shouting at his companion and the clear ringleader of the group. At the moment, the Alpha hardly cared, his claws dug in for purchase as he climbed upwards, snapping at flesh and sinew alike till he was practically thrown off the man. The feline landed with ease upon his feet, backing away towards Mira with a low, threatening growl reverberating within the back of his throat. He was well aware of the near pathetic whine upon his girlfriend's lips - the touch of silver was far too great for her and Tetradore, in turn, was determined to see it off. Cautiously, he stepped backwards and over her, the Were-King ensuring he kept the two vampires within his eyesight as he leaned down to pick up a link of silver between his jaws. He cared little for the burn of it against his mouth - the pain of this something he was strikingly used to. Rather, he was purposeful as he watched the stalking vampires, the Alpha waited only a moment before his shadows rushed to his aid and quickly, he teleported, chain blanket and all into the air above their ringleader. The blanket within his mouth was dropped with a heavy thud, the panther himself soon following after as the silver laced the undead creature's flesh. No matter how fast it was, he hadn't expected an attack from above. Screams immediately filled Tetradore's ears as he jumped off the vampire, the Were-King quickly again placing himself between the vampires and the fallen ebony wolf. His ears were laced against his skull, his tail lashing angrily behind him as another growl reverberated from his lips. One down. One to go.

This is my last goodbye
