The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It seemed like every time Lucas even so much as breathed it somehow made this girl happy. He wasn't aware he made such an amusing past time. It would probably have been a pretty penny of a compliment for most anyone else, save for Lucas, as it was difficult for him to understand in what way she thought he desired any of it. What part of their interaction had screamed 'yes, let's be friends'?
The attention. The smiles. The mockery.
All forms of flattery in some way or another and none of which he wanted. He wasn't a spotlight kind of dog. He was the 'one warning, bite you' kind of dog. And this girl was getting pretty damn close.
But he'd give her a single chance to explain. Those dark, dark eyes of his were glued to hers - his? As he waited for a response. He was closer now, her own feral scent a bit more prudent in such proximity. She smelled... canine of sorts. Like him? Possibly. Yet something tugged at those senses, some instinct in the back of his mind telling him that no, she wasn't quite like him. She was still different, canine or not.
The question seemed to catch her off guard if only briefly. Lucas waited, watching her puzzle it out for a moment before that simple answer rang out as if it were something to be proud of. Lucas almost looked disgusted.
Almost.
"No," He clarified quickly. Bluntly. Because he wanted to make certain this girl knew she wasn't speaking for him, even if that hadn't been her intention. His upper lip curled to expose a row of teeth, all perfectly human in nature, and yet it was clearly such a canine form of communication. "I don't want that. You want that." Emphasis on 'you'. You as in 'her'. Her, right there, with the face of the weredog boring daggers.
The cold sweat was coming back. The world spun a little beneath his feet and Lucas attempted to regulate by sucking in a breath between his teeth. And then release. The intensity of that moment seemed to come to a boiling point before immediately deflating back into a simmer. He wasn't high enough for this shit.
Lucas straightened back to his full height slowly, eyes narrowing into a glare at the girl who just happened to be in front of him. It was unclear if the subject had pricked a nerve of his or if she was simply an unfortunate victim of wrong place, wrong time, wrong dog. Maybe both? Quite possibly both.
"And I don't care for anyone that does." The statement was matter-of-fact though his attention was wavering, eyes looking about the park for his next destination. Nose to the air, nostrils flaring as his attention slowly began to drift. He hadn't planned on moving from this spot so prematurely, but if Lucas had to hazard a guess, if he stayed much longer then he wasn't going to be able to continue playing nice-like. It would be less stressful for him if he knew that she wasn't going to follow.
"Go home," Lucas muttered, though it didn't seem like it was out of concern or from the goodness of his little withered heart. It was simply to get her out of his hair. A glance was given down to her, only as if to clarify that he meant it, before moving to take his leave in any other direction besides this one.
