South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Even as the small vampire regarded the other in front of her, it didn't occur to her to ask how the psychic vampire had come to find herself so famished. It didn't rightly matter at that moment. All that mattered was getting the woman fed. As Anna knew very well, a hungry vampire was a dangerous one and for that there was no question or hesitancy in helping. Anna nodded resolutely and slid from the swing as Chizue asked after other psychic vampires, "When you've been around as long as I have you see more than your fair share of things." She smiled softly before turning back to the matter at hand of getting Chizue fed. "I'll distract them for you." Anna offered before making a beeline for the huddled group of young men.

It was like riding a bike, returning to playing on the human emotion of seeing her as nothing but an innocent and weak child. While it may have made it difficult doing business, being a child made it ridiculously easy to nab prey. Anna repeated a bit slower, "Can you help me?" "We don't know where your mom is kid..." Their dumbfounded nature truly was astonishing. Anna's crystalline blue gaze remained steadfast on the intended target even as her peripheral caught Chizue leaving the safety of the swingset to approach from behind. "I need to go home.." Anna continued and even lifted her small hand slightly towards him for added effect though she hardly expected him to take it. Not like she wanted him too either.

The boy regarded Anna's hand in confusion as his lips parted once more but before he could get anything out he nearly leaped from his skin at the sudden voice of the other. Since when had she gotten there?! "Oh..I...uh..-" He blinked rapidly even as a sudden tiredness fogged his brain. The others of his group seemed just as confused though not about to care about who claimed the kid.

Anna-Marie switched easily to grasp Chizue's offered hand, not even caring to look back at the group as the pair walked off. "You seem better." The little vampire mused lightly. "How long does a feeding last you?" Age and time between feedings had a direct correlation that would tell Anna a lot about the woman. Once they were back on the sidewalk of the main road, Anna released Chizue's hand and came to a halt to regard the newly fed vampire with mild curiosity. The time of night alloted them the privacy from prying ears and the only company here was the man in the moon hanging low above them. "The other life force vampire I met was back in Egypt and preferred to feed while his victims were in prayer. It was quite interesting, a vampire within the walls of a perceived holy place...feeding upon the ones praying to almighty Gods made of creatures they would be terrified of if they were actually standing beside them." She waved a hand dismissively at the comment, "Anyways, he said it was better because it offered him a level-headedness than feeding from a terrified prey. Do you have that same preference, of having a calm feed or do you prefer a certain...spike in them?" Whether Chizue normally liked her prey calm, scared, or high was of little concern but it did help Anna for future reference if Chizue needed help again down the line.
