South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya had figured the topic was done and over with, she had given her piece which in her opinion should have been the end of it. It had almost appeared so too with the way Raven's head had ducked slightly but she had quickly straightened back up. Every word and every movement of posture from the wolf caused her to bristle further and further until her coat still on end and her tail whipped against the ground in irritation. It was a good thing that Tobias left his hiding place amongst the trees to intercept the tense meeting between the females. Nadya was well used to lashing out and fighting with Tobias, his dominating nature surely just as stubborn as her own, so when his form touched her shoulder her muscles tensed and she snapped her head in his direction, fully prepared to smack him right back until it processed that he was only rubbing against her in greeting. It succeeded in dragging her attention away from Raven enough so that her coiled form was no longer likely to spring at the wolf at the next word. Her golden eyes watched his spotted form move between them then collapse onto the earth. "Tobi, you don't understand...we are feline...she is a wolf, she can't be in the pack." Her tone was much gentler as her mind found his though just as firm in its belief that Raven didn't belong...that a wolf couldn't be a part of a feline pack. Nadya moved her head away from his batting paws, turning her hard gaze back on Raven.

It irritated her more than it probably should have but Tobias didn't have her past experience. He hadn't had his pack's territory invaded by a group of feral wolves, hadn't had that soul wrenching sound of mothers screaming holding their dead cubs. All that blood and that sound of the mother's had haunted her sleep for weeks afterwards. Nadya had been distrusting of wolves ever since as she saw them as incapable of controlling their animal side like other Weres. The memory caused Nadya to bristle again, a low vibrating begins of a growl starting in her throat as her ears flicked back. She hadn't had a problem with Tobias galavanting around playing with the wolf meant it was simple childs play, but to claim her as a part of pack, as his, it was more...it was attachment. Her attention once more shifted to Raven, sitting there more determined than ever causing Nadya to bristle again. "You can't be trusted, wolves can't control their animal..."

Her anger was stunted once more as Tobias further tried to placate her growing irritation, his rough tongue taking to smoothing her bristled coat. It truly was strange behavior, her ears twitching in confusion as her mind battled whether to be angry at Raven or calmed by the ministrations of being groomed and the contented purr that hummed against her. Perhaps on some level the physical intimacy they pair had gone through strengthened their bond and her tolerance for him. They were still just as much teeth and claws at each other but also more protective than before their haphazard couplings. As such Nadya simply sat there, gaze narrowed at Raven, her bristled coat once again smooth though her tail still tapped at the earth. His persuasion worked enough, using the pack bond against her that told her to be calmed by such attention. "Fine." Nadya shook her head to clear Tobias away as she gracefully stood up and approached Raven. Where Tet had been gentle and Tobias had tricked Raven there was no subtleness in Nadya as she threw her shoulder into Raven's to knock her down in sign of dominance. "You can be a part of our pack...but I'm not hunting with you." Nadya glanced back at Tobias as if daring him to say something, as she saw it every bit her right to make sure Raven knew exactly where she stood in the hierarchy of things. It was much less subtle than her usual ways, more irritable and bully which, like Tobias' affection, was unlike her normal behavior.
