South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Peculiarly, Serafina had little difficulty in ignoring his sometimes brutish behavior from the way that he flinched at her touch to cowering at her very existence near him. A part of her recognized that she was purposefully rebelling against him, against society, against their very nature. He had seemed so determined to kill her kind, finding nothing good about them that she was determined to show him that they weren't all nearly as terrible as he seemed so keen to think. Her gaze shifted briefly towards the spot he had originally asked her to be in, offering him only the slightest of shrugs in return, all the while remaining exactly where she was, content to even retort to his insistence that she had ruined his night with banter all of her own. Serafina certainly wasn't at all oblivious to his sudden silence, her grey tinged eyes tentatively meeting his, returning his silent stare with an equally as inquisitive one of her own. Slowly her gaze traced his features, unable to help himself from wondering just what thought was passing though that stoic mind, nibbling upon the olive free bite of pizza.

Despite the effort he made to appear hardly interested within her at least his comment seemed to suggest some subconscious internal desire for something else entirely, bringing a ghost of a simper to the young woman's lips. Despite her silence on the matter, the young girl had indeed caught the simple slip up, choosing, for the moment, however, to not comment on it. Instead, she let him continue on wards, gesturing towards the pizza in front of them and briefly her gaze traveled over it. In truth, the young girl was rarely allowed to actually keep any real money. It was as if her mentor was afraid that she would leave should she get her hands on anything substantial. Although she knew all too well that that what she was about to do was surely going to annoy the hunter (although really what didn't annoy him?), she couldn't help the small grin that quickly took over iher fair features as she reached into her bag, fishing out a small black coin purse filled to the brim of...well...coins. Haphazardly she tossed the closed bag in the hunter's direction, willing enough to let him deal with it as he saw fit. "There you go! Should be like...6.50? Ish?" Her head tilted to the side as if she was trying to remember the last time she'd counted the coins she'd managed to collect and keep over the last few weeks.

Her mental counting, however, was quickly interrupted by a complaint of his own, one that consisted of women and their picky tastes and whatever community she most certainly hadn't grown up within. "Well, you like olives. I was just trying to share." She stated quite pointedly, choosing to add to the entirely affair by sticking out just the smallest big of her tongue at him before refocusing her attention upon the crust of her pizza. His next inquiry, in truth, caught the witch off guard, her eyebrows furrowing briefly for a short moment. Certainly she was purposefully bothering the man but she hardly expected him to even desire a name to associate with her. Her contemplation hardly lingered long, however, before she found herself unable to refrain the snort that came from her nose. "Do I look green to you?" She inquired with a feigned hint of insult. In truth she'd come across a wide array of stereotypes. Some asked her if she could wiggle her nose at them to make their wishes come true. She shook her head slightly, reaching up to tuck a piece of ebony hair behind her ear, her tone becoming serious once more as she finished off the last of her crust. "Serafina." She stated simply, pulling herself upwards with a feline like stretch.

"Well. Since you offered it, and you seem so keen to hate on my tree, let's see how amazing this couch of yours is, hm?" She was teasing him again, naturally and though the girl hardly expected him to take it, she bent down ever so slightly to offer him her hand, ignoring the view that such gesture might provide. Serafina knew that this time she was certainly putting herself out there and equally was aware that this might be the one thing to push him over the edge and leave her standing there staring at only air. And yet, despite such knowledge, she was always the kind of individual to at least try rather then simply daydream of what could have been.
