The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. I don't think Raven can see just how strong she is. She likes to put on a strong face and yet calls herself weak but she doesn't see what I see. I know she worries about me and I hate that I rely on her so much for things like protection. I want to do better on my own cause I worry every day about her leaving me to stay with Tobi more permanently. When I tell her what I think of myself, she turns away with a low growl and tells me that if I say it, it'll make it true. I scowl, wishing I could just shrug it off as truth but I know that will only upset her more so instead, I keep my mouth shut.

I know Raven must think about the last time we were playing chase in our animal forms and I wish I knew what to say to reassure her but all I can do is listen attentively and feel determined to prove to her that I can do this. I want to make her proud. As I take off, I can feel her right behind me. I know she has longer legs but I was always known as pretty fast for a fox in my former pack. I feel her warm breath on my heels and I can feel her teeth grazing my legs every once in a while so I start zig zagging and picking up the speed, not wanting to get bit. Once I reach the stream, I know I can take her off my scent to give me more of a head start so I take advantage of it, using the stream to get a good spot to hide.

Somehow she still saw me though and before I know it, the large wolf is right in front of me, snapping at my face and bringing up her paw to slap at me. I grunt as her paw makes contact with my side and I stumble to the side, bolting forward as I take off through the tall grass. That's when I hear her command. I turn on my heels and race toward her, my heart racing as I try not to think about how I don't want to hurt my friend. I launch out of the grass, aiming to land on her back and use it to jump to the other side of her. Once I land, I'll spin and snap at the thin flesh of ehr rib cage, aiming to puncture and then circle around behind her, using my speed and agility to out maneuver her as I snap at her back legs next, aiming to make her spin around to get me and I'll jump back and fake to jump again, wanting her head to snap up before I dive low and under her jaws, aiming my own teeth up at her neck.
