South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It would seem like a miracle that a person that had suffered through trauma and abuse would feel such pain and remorse at their actions. Raven had every right to despise her pack. No one had given some thought to her wellbeing before. She was allowed to be selfish for a change. The young woman had endured much since a very young age. Being told as pup that you would amount to nothing was startling. The place she used to call home was not a place she could refer to anymore. Instead they had given her a new abode, one that was far from most, the cage not just keeping her in, but keeping the others out. Instead of running and playing with those her age she had to watch from the side, any form of participation was frowned upon and immediately she would get reprimanded. For a young wolf to be deprived of pack life was quite painful for her to cope with. Rather than be among her own kind she was left alone to do as she wanted, under strict supervision, and the only thing that was deemed 'safe' were books. Books could take her away and allow her to live in a completely different world. But sadly that just wasn't enough. Both her human side and wolf side craved attention, but more importantly she desired acceptance. Unable to receive either one she was left with nothing more than allowing her feral sign to overcome her and not fight it. At least when she was feral did she get attention. Though now lying here on the ground with the tiger simply staring at her and giving her advice, it wasn't necessarily one she wanted to hear...because Regan didn't understand and that wasn't her fault at all. Sighing softly her head would lie over her grey paws, her words much more somber than before.

"Yes, but I don't want to kill someone blindly. I go feral Regan...I go feral and I harm anything in my way."

It had just occurred to the lupine, after she spoke up, that she had admitted to one of the many dark skeletons in her closet. Her head would lift upwards slowly, grey-trimmed ears folded back in an apologetic manner. Grey and black banner quickly wrapped around her back leg as she attempted to shift on the ground, keep lying down, but making herself appear smaller. She hadn't meant to speak such things, but it would seem the cat was out of the bag. Okay maybe not the best thing to say, but it is true. Her head would lay back down over her paws as a heavy sigh came out of the poor beast. Afraid Regan would leave her she simply closed her eyes so as not to truly witness her take the leave, hoping that would help pain easier. Startled when she felt the warmth and pressure of another being pressed into her, ebony skull would lift up as eyes reopened in surprised. As the ebony tiger began to lay and curl herself around the lupine, the oddly marked creature began to calm down as that soothing feeling began to overwhelm her. While the tiger laid her head along her ribs the would tilt and lay her head on top of the tiger's back, her muzzle burying into the tigers side. Raven does not speak of the past. Wishes nothing more than to forget it. Yet the scars on the tiger clearly alerted the young woman that there was some sort of unspoken connection between the two, similar connections as it was to her and Alexis. Growing still for a moment, hesitant to speak what was on her mind, the young woman instantly curled up closer to the tiger, content for this tender moment of protection. If not from the world then perhaps from her troubled mind.

"Sure they deserved it. Like you said I'm allowed to fight. Maybe I was sick and tired of it, maybe I didn't want to be pushed around any longer, maybe I just wanted to teach them a lesson and get revenge. Who knows, but that night I turned like always, and I just...lost it."

Raven would grow still for the moment. Her eyes closed as she began to calm down, finding Regan's smooth breathing oddly comforting. Silence would enwrap the two. Her mind began to trail off from the pain she experience from her pack to the beginnings of the potential to joining a new pack. Tobias was somewhat aware that her mind could shift at any moment and yet he hardly seemed to mind. Yet she was so sure that the green-eyed panther would change his mind the moment he found out. She needed to tell him, but she wasn't quite sure how to say it. Lifting her head some she would tilt it so her blue-grey eyes would meet her violet gaze. Raven was not sure what Regan would think, but it would be nice, she thought, to have at least another member of the Nightshade Pack approve of her. Besides, she wasn't blind when she noticed how Tetradore interacted with the mute. She, like Regan, may be wanting some sort of pack...and it wouldn't hurt to ask, right?

"I've been wanting to join their pack...they have always treated me well. Tetra helped me in a tough situation and Tobi...well...he was the first person I've ever learned to trust. Maybe you could join too?"
