The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It had been awhile since she roamed through the Park. It felt nice to be able to walk along firm cold ground. The grass quite a comforting feel to her very sensitive paws. She did not hear the own sound of her footsteps as she stalked through the autumn night, quietly. Lately her time had been spent mostly along the West side. Moving through the maze of dirty alleyways, her paws feeling the colder and firmer concrete that scraped her paws uncomfortably. It felt better to inhale and exhale here in the 'great outdoors' no smog or tangy salty air caused her to choke. It was nice for a change and it was a change she did not want to extinguish, as of yet. Vividly she could recall the last time she had took a nightly stroll in the park. Her cousins had to check up on the family's black sheep. The park was safe grounds for both parties. Well, at least somewhat safe. That night she was supposed to be alone. Raven knew the routine far too well. All she had to do was just show up, wear the shackles and sit there and listen to their jeers and ignore the sneers on their face. It was their opportune moment to take whatever snipe or swipe they wanted without suffering any sort of consequence. While they verbally and emotionally abused her she would provide them the information they wanted, all so she could stay in their good graces and live in a home she never wanted in the first place. However, the last night she saw her cousins was when the routine broke. Isotl had played a huge factor and for a time Raven couldn't go back to the home her pack provided in fear that they would attack. Her comfortable exile was destroyed and perhaps that was a good thing. At least now she stayed close to her friends, the only people that had some sort of care for her, especially when she cared so much for them.
Tonight the particular marked obsidian wolf seemed to walk with such a sluggish motion that her grey-trimmed ear barely flicked side to side to listen to whatever was going on around her. The curly-haired woman was attempting to keep herself hidden. With her Sister pack wanting her dead now and after her break down at the Masquerade Ball it was in her best interest to simply stay- out of sight. The lupine hadn't meant to act out of hand, but that night she simply was not feeling well and her other savage self was simply begging to be let out. Embarrassed and ashamed she barely left the safety of the Ark, spending her time lounging around with her spotted friend or simply locking herself away in a book. Yet she needed to get out and she assumed tonight would be fine, but oh how wrong was she. While the she-wolf continued moseying around a familiar scent had caught her attention. Puzzled her skull would tilt to the side in a curious manner as she turned around to follow it. As Raven got closer towards the scent her blue-grey eyes could easily make out the familiar figure of the red-head Vampire she had befriended. However, there was something else that had caused her to freeze and tense up. Stormy eyes narrowed as she heard that familiar sickly German accent. Worried for Isolt her form would shift into the largest size she was capable of making and her powerful legs would propel the behemoth to move forward.
With a rumbling snarl, black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp white teeth, as she easily clamped on the leg of one wolf, lifting her head and dropping the werewolf to the ground, not worried that her own paws would slam it into the ground. Nearing Isolt's side she would swing around and snap her jaws in a furious manner, black and grey banner swaying side to side as she heard the lowered growls coming from her cousins. Shadows would slowly start to crawl and overlap one another as they encircled the fledging vampire covering her porcelain skin instantly. With another low growl coming from the bear-sized lupine her grey-trimmed ears would press tightly flat against her skull as her larger form seemed to lean and crouch beside Isolt all to protect her. Using her telekinesis she would pick up one wolf and slam it into the tree which caused the others to back off, just slightly. The group of wolves would whine and growl, afraid of their opponent but knowing they could not disobey their alpha, simply unable to even try to attack- their numbers not providing anyone to be brave enough to attack her first. . Keeping her eyes locked on her cousin her voice would gently press into Isolt's, for such a fearsome state Raven was in, her voice was so eerily calm and filled with concern.
"I am sorry Isolt."
