The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Snow. Snow was extremely alluring. There was something about snow that gave off inclinations of peace, innocence, and virtue. These traits and qualities could be aligned with the lupine that was currently lying in the deep snow. The poor girl could not be casted in such a bright light that gave off that she was a gentle creature. For such a quiet and meek young woman there was something she was desperately trying to hide and keep from breaking the surface. Raven, like snow, had its own ability to be hazardous. Snow, mixed with ice, could become such a threatening force. Raven, although she didn't always want to admit it, could become a dangerous creature. Snow was misunderstood. For one being snow was cherished, celebrated as many young and old celebrate it. While at the same time, young and old, complained about it, and felt snow's wrath when they would trek through it or experience it. Raven had been misunderstood all her life. For all the good that she could be to others she was terrified to lose everyone and everything, as she had before, when her other half ruined her life. The young woman was slowly creating ties with others, having friends- something she never thought she would ever have. The Nightshade pack slowly forming into a family...something she had always wanted to be a part of. Like any family there were problems, and there were a few here and there between all the members, but like every book she ever read family sticks together and solves the problems. But tonight she didn't want to think of such things...even If she was afraid about the outcomes. Lying in the snow allowed her to simply forget, if only for a moment, those stony eyes looking him with a rare look of wonder as the snow silently fell to the ground. The particular tainted she-wolf had no idea her leopard companion was nearby or that he was stalking her. She was quite content with simply lying on her back and looking up. That long pink tongue hanging lazily from her muzzle as her body cooled off from her furious play in the snow. While the snowy night continued to linger her eyes widen when she noticed a flash of gold above her. With a soft yelp of surprise, and slight discomfort, she saw before her the magnificent golden and spotted pelt of her boyfriend. Her form underneath his weight would shift slightly, so as to make herself comfortable, as he began to sit down on top of her. Even though she was on her back her tail swayed side to side slowly in a lethargic manner. She felt something inside her suddenly go warm as her chest swelled up, please to see that he had returned. Why he was not at her side at night she did not know, but she was pleased to see him again. Her head would lift as she rubbed the top of her head underneath his chin, her muzzle rubbing against his neck in a loving manner as he continued to purr her own voice gently giving a reply. "I have never seen snow before...I've never watched it fall." Slowly she would lay her head back into the soft white snow. His comment that her eyes would freeze over from the fallen snow made her let out a soft woof in a humorous manner. Those grey front paws moved to bat at his face and ears in a playful manner. It was not like her to be this touchy and playful before. The young woman's' joy of playing in the snow seemed to continue to wash over her as she lifted her paw and patted his nose gently, those attractive blue-grey eyes locking with those deep golden orbs. "Have you ever seen the snow fall in your eyes and freeze off?" That her friend was capable of making up fictitious tales and warnings was something she got used to. His words not carrying much of a threat to her to be concerned. Yet it did not hurt to inquire just what he meant. For a moment she would let him speak and do as he pleased, content to feel his weight upon her, that ecstatic feeling of him near her again brought her much delight. Yet why he had not been around before frightened her. Nadya was pregnant. She knew that there was a chance he would leave her for the panther. After all he was carrying his cubs, his bloodline...why would a male not stay with the one that was bearing them a lineage? She could not be that for him, she could not give him a child, but there was far so much more she could give. Trust, understanding, companionship, and love these things she can provide and give so willingly. Yet she was concerned that perhaps the reason why he left was to put distance between them, before he left her. How she wished to tell him she wanted him to stay she did not know, but she hoped every night when she would stir awake he would be there, and tonight he wasn't. Slowly she brought her paws down from his face and went quiet for a moment. Shyly her eyes would shift upwards to meet his, those grey-outlined ears folded back against her skull in an apologetic manner, her voice softly pressing into his mind. "I...don't like it when you leave me alone...was I bad? Did I do something wrong?" "talks like this" Raven |
