South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

hold onto this melody; even when the music is gone

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

She admires it, the bravery that this other vixen has, the way she could resist an Alpha's call. But it wasn't in Claire to resist, trained as she was to always obey the Call. It didn't matter that this one didn't come from her father or Nathaniel. Her body was responding and reacting way before her brain could comprehend it. Before the other's cry for her to stop. Her body is low, her ears lay flat against her head and she can smell the chill in the air, the unnatural scent of freezing too soon.

The chill in the air is taken away momentarily by the other vixen as she pressed near to her side. Claire's body was trembling, the fear the coursed through her body and causing the adrenaline to race almost made her forget the wound in her side. The horse lowers his head, inhaling her scent just as the other vixen's nose presses near the wound. She almost asks what she is doing, but end up gasping instead and a soft whimper exiting her mouth as she could feel the accelerated healing, the bullet pulling from her skin. It was an amazing and terrifying feeling all at once, as if she could feel the very skin pulling together to close and the blood that permeated the air around her had dampened.

"Howâ€"how did you do that?" She asks the other, her nose had pressed into the others fur during this, taking comfort in the familiar feel of her fur. "I only bring pain." The other is trembling and Claire is pressing close to lend what strength she could. She admired the other fox deeply.

It seems that the wolf is a friend of the other vixen, but Claire wasn't sure how that was possible. Then again, she wasn't sure of anything anymore. Up until this moment, the only others who she perceived as Were were related to her, either by blood or through marriage of a sister. Still, she had to wonder why she seemed to resist an Alpha's call.

His words pull her gaze from studying the wolf as he introduces himself and she could only shift her weight and settle deeper into the snow, seeming to shrink into herself, "I'm Claire." Her words are soft, almost shy. She thinks he's one of the most beautiful creatures she's ever seen, his coat a color that has never touched her gaze before.

His movements bring him closer and she finds her body tensing again, but why should it? He was powerful enough to bring the wolf to her knees, to complacency, which is power itself. All she did was cause pain and death. But as he asks her about how she'd came to be here she shakes her head as if clearing it and is silent for a few moments. "Those who smell like silver came, with fire and pain and death," she whispers again as if reliving the night over.

"There are more of them?" She asks, her head snapping up to survey the area, her nose testing the area. She had taken a step closer in her survey, clearly finding safety within his shadow.

His offer is tempting, so very much, but Claire wonders about the other vixen and how she could be a friend with someone who has tried to hurt her. Maybe she was just confused and needed to be led in the right direction, maybe Claire could help her. She has never had a friend before, she didn't count her siblings in that, they needed to be nice because they all feared to anger her.

Her attention turns back to Frost, "Willâ€"will you take me with you?" She asks, making the choice he was giving her, even though it should have been no choice at all. Her attention turns back to Alexis, "Come with me?" She asks of her, her voice soft.
