Perhaps it was a good thing she suggested the woman to sit down. The last thing she needed was some human fainting in the middle of the park. What was she to do? Stay in wolf form and attack anyone that might try to harm her? Shift back into her human form and wait for the authorities to arrive to revive her...and possibly be blamed for the problem in the first place? She would have rather had the girl run like crazy through the park, screaming at the top of her lungs about a wolf. At least then she wouldn't have to worry about the girl. Yet there was a small part of her that hoped she would be calm as she took in the sudden realization that humans were not the only species to walk on the Earth. Calm slate eyes narrowed when she noticed the girl shaking, her cold nose catching the scent of fear and anxiety overwhelming her. Grey trimmed ears would lace backwards, lowering her head in a non-threatening manner as she approached the girl slowly. Quietly she would sit only a mere few feet away from the girl, her head moving side to side observing the jogging path. She knew she didn't have time to sit here and wait for the girl to accept this new change in her life. Others would come and she doubted they would be as understanding or willing to accept that a creature, not meant for the park, was sitting in the park grounds as bright as day. But she would wait, patiently, but should anything go awry she would head for the woods within the park and hide. One right grey trimmed ear twitched when she heard the whispered words of acceptance flutter out of the girl. Tilting her ebony skull to the side her own voice brushed the mind of the red-headed girl gently.
"You don't...get out much do you?"
Really she had no right to even judge the poor woman. She didn't necessary attempt to reach out in the world and try new things herself. In her old pack's territory, they were taught about the other creatures within the supernatural underworld. Sometimes in class they would have visitors, each different species explaining themselves and showing their strengths. It was only in books and stories did she learn about their weakness. She did notice that each time a vampire came, everyone within the room got anxious, always she could hear the soft growls or hisses of anger come from her peers. Even though the vampire would make her feel uneasy, she didn't have the desire to harm them- not until they flashed their fangs when they enjoyed their capability of making a room full of Were's uncomfortable. Her attention would fall back on the woman as she listened to her girl shoot out a variety of questions. Sitting up a bit straighter, her ebony tail, dipped with grey along the tip and edges would slam into the ground in a content and slightly amused manner.
"I was born human, but I changed a few days later underneath the full moon. It did when I was younger, but now it doesn't hurt as much. I prefer being a wolf more than human...it hurts being human. Yes, it is hereditary, but if I bit you then you'd change and then your children will have it."
Her head would duck low at the sudden realization of her last comment. One grey paw would drag along the earth's soul in a bashful, almost human, manner as she weakly spoke up. Blue-grey eyes would shift upwards as she silently chastised herself for her out of line comment.
"But I am not going to bite you."
Lifting her head once more, she could catch unfamiliar scents on the gentle wind that blew past them. She wasn't sure where it was coming from, but she knew full well they were human. Really she had to get a move on if she wasn't going to be caught, but she didn't want to leave the red-head alone.
"Do you have any more questions, because I really can't be out here like this for long."
