South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

As a part of the canine family, the sound of a purr was an oddity to her. She was not used to hearing the soft rumbling coming from the feline, and just where or how the sound was made would forever be a secret amongst the feline kind. Perhaps it was best not to consider the abnormality of cats and their actions, just as it wasn't proper to speak of the Queen of Spain's legs. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to find his purr as a warning or a sign of content, but seeing how he wasn't flashing his teeth at her and his form rubbing against her was gentle, she would take the sound to mean he was satisfied. It was his answer that made her half-closed eyes widen slightly. The human half of her thought that was damn right creepy and uncalled for. But her wolf-mind was a bit more understanding in his reasons, but that didn't stop the girl from inquiring innocently even further.

"Why do I have to smell like you? Is it...because I smell bad?"

This game, whatever it was called, allowed the girl to at least stretch her legs some and feel that delightful intoxication of adrenaline. Usually it was out of fear that this particular toxin would come out, but in this game it was more for anticipation purposes. Lying in the dim cold cave her blue-grey eyes would be focused on the entrance of the cave. Lying her head down to stop the panting, wanting to dismiss any hint of sound coming from her, she would curl herself in a comfortable manner. She hoped she was playing this game correctly, there wasn't much to it, just to hide and she considered with all the tricks she pulled she did a decent job. A grey ear twitched as she lifted her head as soon as the familiar figure of the spotted feline was in view. Embracing for impact she felt his heavy weight land on top of her as she began to squirm, attempting to get out from under him. She had managed, with the help of his weight, to lay on her back both paws batting playfully at him while his teeth clamped her ear. A playful growl echoes his proclamation. As soon as he leapt off her, she would roll herself back on her grey paws shaking the dirt out of her fur as her head tilted to the side from his directions.

"You won't hurt me...if I close my eyes?"

Closing one of her senses meant she was implying trust to the individual and trust was still a fickle thing about her. She was starting to learn how to trust him just as she was learning how to trust Alexis. Both were complete opposites, but they were the only two she had spent a lot of time with. As the feline began to run out of the cave, she would lie down and close her eyes, her grey ears twitching as the sound of a tree groaned from unwanted weight with the rustling sounds of leaves that were soon to follow. Assuming she had waited long enough she would walk out of the cave lowering her nose to the ground taking his scent in. Yet his scent was nowhere to be found. Remembering the sound of tree groaning from unwanted weight, she would look up, seeing some of the branches bent. Wagging her tail she would start to run, following any signs in the tree of evidence that he was around. Seeing the river she halted for a moment, confused. Over at the harbor, the first time they had met she noticed how he looked at the water as if it were the worst thing he had never seen. Knowing he wasn't a fan of water, she sat at the bank looking up and down, figuring out if he had crossed it. Noticing how close one tree branches were, to the other side of the bank's tree branches both seemed to meld into one another making it an easy jump. Getting back on her paws she would swim across the river, shaking herself for a moment to dispose of the extra weight that clung to her thick fur, as she began her run away partly to dry herself off and partly so she could try and spot out the spotted feline. She would run past the small rock query where he hid, thinking he continued to jump from the clouds, but she stopped herself when a faint breeze lifted his scent. Puzzled she would go back down heading for the rock pile she had passed, because she was coming up ahead and behind him he would not see her through his gap. As she crept carefully below she noticed a dark figure within the cracks. Dropping her fluffy tail she would gently stroke his head down to his neck as she questioned her victory.

"Did I win?"

Jumping away from him, to allow him space to get out of his personal rock and hard place, she would turn her head ignoring the subtle growl coming from her stomach. Her tail swayed side to side, enjoying this new found capability of playing a game that seemed fairly easy, glad she hadn't made herself look like a fool.
"This...is fun."
