South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The wind was howling through the streets, the rain pounding upon the steel roof as Serafina sat within the back of her quaint little shop. The girl was hunched over her work bench, her chin rested nonchalantly on the palm of her hand as her dark grey eyes looked upwards at small window placed high above her. A soft sigh left the girl's lips as she listened the sound of the rain fill her ears and slowly, her long lashes closed over her stormy gaze. It was some how peaceful - the metallic ding every time a drop hit the roof. The rain had always managed to bring her some kind of contentment. It made her appreciate everything she had, no matter how bad things were because, as she remembered so painfully, it would always be far worse. The soft, chiming ding caught her attention, alerting her that the front door had opened and immediately the young girl straightened ever so slightly. Her head turned towards the door that lead to the main shop, her head tilting ever so slightly to the side. She hardly expected for a visitor in this weather. It made her weary - after all her establishment had just made it's transition from one side of the city to the other. The clientele here was different. They were dangerous, their requests more outlandish and yet, they paid far better.

Softly the female inhaled and she stood up from her perch. Slowly, she maneuvered her way around her work bench, stepping behind the counter. Her fingertips brushed across the smooth oak countertop as the girl worked her way towards the middle. She paused there, her slate tinged eyes falling with a judging stare upon the man that stood within the depths of her store. She leaned forward over the countertop, her elbows resting on the hard wood. For a moment, she watched him - the way that his eyes gazed over the baubles that made up her wares. Each one was unique within it's own right. The trinkets all holding some mysterious allure, some secret power just waiting to be unlocked by the buyer. Here there was no need for touristy gimmicks. Here she didn't have to hide her good stuff behind cases for fear that some idiot would run off with it thinking it was no more then some pretty necklace. Here - everything had a reason, a price, a power and Serafina stood in the midst of such a notorious market.

The young woman cleared her throat, her soprano voice echoing within the quiet space. "Hello - is there something you're looking for?" She inquired, her nearly musical voice seemed almost out of place in the world she surrounded herself within. Her head tilted to the side for a moment as she intensely inspected the man in front of her. He, she had quickly decided, was not like her usual clients. There wasn't the same ferocious egotistical nature that seemed to cling to many that wandered in her door. There was no testosterone need to be better then everyone else around him. He seemed...almost normal...and to be honest it had caught the young woman off guard. "Are you...lost?" She inquired, her eyebrows rose ever so slightly and yet Serafina's attention remained steadfast upon him. After all, it wasn't as if her little storefront was booming with visitors, especially not in this weather.
