South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

at the end of the game, the king and the pawn return to the same box

"Oh but I so love formality," Spencer snorted at his companion's interruption. Not the most polite thing but something Spencer did silently appreciate. He will credit Dorian this, the man knew how to get things moving. Tolerate? That might be a bit of a stretch. However, unlike his counterpart, Spencer knew when to bite his tongue and when hammers became necessary to get a point across. Dorian was likely to use a sledgehammer on any situation and, if the sledgehammer wasn't successful, he'd probably just switch to fire. Burn it all down and then piss on it just for shits and giggles.

Spencer watched Dorian closely, reading his body language as he waited for his words to catch up. Damn, his wrinkled nose and curled lip said everything he needed to know about this fucking city. He traded a plague of fools for a plague of fur and teeth. He listened as Dorian spoke, making note of the relationship with the hunters but more importantly with the were-creatures. He didn't hide his surprise to hear about the tendency to familiarize the were-creatures, something that was new to Spencer. He had heard mumblings here and there about that one or two peculiar witches who had done so but never an entire city. It seemed here he would likely find himself engaging with the strays more than he desired but at least it seemed the relationship here would be different. Seriously, though, he was drawing the line if they were expecting him to embrace were-creatures and sing kumbayas with them.

"I'll keep that in mind," Spencer mumbled as he mused over a few thoughts. He put out the little stump left of his cigarette on the bottom of his shoe. If Dorian felt the need to warn about one particular prick above the others, well, that spoke louder than anything really. Not that Dorian had anything to worry about; it wasn't like his new partner was likely to go pick fights for fun. No, Spencer had already lost one part of himself to the mutts, he wasn't eager to sacrifice another for childish antics.

"I wasn't aware you had a brother. Does he help you with the business?" Look at that, Spencer is being nosy. Then again, it wasn't like he really knew that much about Dorian. They had interacted here and there in the past but it wasn't like either of them were eager to flop down on an overstuffed couch, wrapped in plush bathrobes with drinks in hand to gossip about their personal lives. It had never mattered; it still didn't matter all that much in the scheme of things but Dorian had piqued a mild curiosity. Even from that one mention, it seemed the brothers were going to have little in common by the way Dorian spoke of the creatures. So, interesting to see if they have any similarities.
