South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

If there was any one thing the dark hunter understood all too well, it was the destitution of one's identity as the geography so haphazardly changed. Temples had crumbled into disarray, his gods had fallen to be replaced by those more foreign to his tongue, fires were replaced with electricity, horse drawn carriages were replaced by electric cars and still Alexander continued to exist. He was forced to adapt to the world that was built up around him, regardless of weather or not he was ready for it. Whatever charismatic pride he had retained from his years as conquerer were wholly diminished by his far longer lifetime as a "public service" curbing the supernatural population. It was a duty that Alexander had long since grown tired of, leaving it to others of his species for far more rewarding tasks. It hardly meant, however, that he had lost his touch - his finesse. The battlefield simply continued to pale in comparison to that which he had once been confronted with. The challenges dwindled before him and quite quickly the military genius had gotten bored with their otherworldly warfare. The pair in front of him was naught but an insult to his capabilities, much less that the council had thought it necessary to send another to babysit him. It was enough to momentarily see his fist tighten across the hilt of the sword that rested so familiarly within the palm of his hand.

A small shrug was all that the Macedonian man offered to the fellow beside him, taking the minuscule compliment that he had been given with an ever stagnant silence. His sea colored gaze shifted only from the motion from his periphery, his head turned just enough to watch the skin his companion wore was shed like chiffon ribbons. He regarded the woman in front of him was a raised brow, his features baring only the smallest glimpse of inquisitiveness as he stared at her olive skin with a certain sort of infinite knowledge. During his life he'd spent nearly half a year in Egypt in an effort to add it too to his far reaching empire. The Egyptian people had hailed him as a Savior when he had liberated them from the Persians tyranny. And soon, the man found himself with a Regalia upon his head, Pharaoh as his title and his name inscribed in hieroglyphs. In his death, he had spent even longer there, trained and tutored to be shaped into the everlasting hunter he was now. It was at least easy to say that her heritage was something is keen eye had picked up on nearly immediately.

"Then we are merely mutually indifferent." Alexander responded in some attempt to find some amicability with the female. It had been an unfortunately long time since the Macedonian man had found any sort of comrade within his own ranks - nearly centuries perhaps. Too many of his kind were too dead set upon their hollowed crusade - degrading the far more immortal man for his inaction without even the faintest of knowledge of who he was or what he had done. Abruptly the weight of his gaze landed entirely upon the female beside him, her offhanded comment had managed to catch him entirely off guard and yet, Alexander could feel no tingle of magic within the air, no great insight instilled upon him with how she had managed to come to sound an accurate conclusion. "Perhaps." He responded, his eyebrows furrowed in thought. "In another life." Alexander found himself agreeing to another moment later. It was lifetimes upon lifetimes ago, nearly worlds apart, and yet he had succeeded in his naive goals. His name was yet to be forgotten.
