South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The girl beside him was so innocently friendly. The way she could just walk up and seat herself next to a stranger was commendable, but also foolish. Most people may not have reacted as friendly as Jericho had, but even he was dangerous to an extent. If she knew what he really was, everything he had done that had made him into a monster parents told their children about at night, she would have run the other direction, not sat down beside him. He wasn't going to hurt her though, at least not intentionally. If she tried to find a way in her life she would discover all the doors were locked and she'd have to find the key in a sea of darkness. He was a ticking time bomb that would only bring misery when he went off. Tick tock.

She grins at him and his comment about the poncho, looking down to her soaked legs that he had noted before. "Well, seems you are right there. Should've worn shorts, would be more comfortable." she says, her voice remaining as bright as always. How rare it was to hear a voice so sweet, so pure. She had not been tainted by the cruelties of the world like Jericho had. She was a bright light that needed to be protected, kept from becoming dull. The fairy feared however, that if he got to close her light would illuminate the blood on his hands he had tried to wash away. Unfortunately the blood of the innocent could only be washed away with his own blood."At least the top half of you is dry though,"his deep baritones seem to hum through a small smile upon his lips.

She finds his joke to be funny, her laughter like that of a melody and pleasing to the ears. Sorcha leans back in her laughter, allowing the rain drops to dance across her face as her tongue darts out to capture them. "That is a risk you have to take, but you seem a pretty brawny fella and although this poncho hides much, it doesn't house that much muscle." He smiles at her, glad he was able to make her laugh with his little joke. She was a tiny little thing in comparison, the likelihood she could even push him over was slim, but he knew that woman were strong creatures and to never underestimate them."You may have an old, rickety van somewhere with a bunch of thugs inside, waiting for your signal," he muses aloud, a simper resting easily on his lips. He playfully looks around, as if searching for this imaginary van.

He is gentle as he grasps her hand, afraid he may shatter her beneath his touch. She beams at him through their introductions, trying to pull him out of the shell he had hidden inside of; unfortunately there was very little left inside to try and coax out. There is silence that falls between them but it is not uncomfortable in the slightest. There is a peace there, the sound of the rain, wind, and waves filling the gap between their words until he offered something to continue the conversation. "Might I ask why you are sitting out by the ocean on a rainy day looking so morose? I bet someone like you could find plenty of company at a bar, even wet as you are," She says, having leaned back to look up, her words both flirtatious and serious as she chuckles.

He chuckles with her, the thought of walking into a bar as soaking wet as he was pretty funny. "I'm sure I could," he says with a hum of amusement. He wasn't conceded, he just had had plenty of girls fling themselves on him to know. He looks up at the sky with her, allowing the rain drops to pelt his face as he does. "Alcohol makes people lose their inhibitions, so I tend to avoid it both for me and for others," he says, his answer maybe a little bit vague but still an answer none the less, his notes entirely serious. Too many times had he lost his better judgement, allowing his gates open to show all the anger and darkness within him. He couldn't do that again and he couldn't have people all over him questioning him.

He then smiled, mahogany eyes shifting over to her as he tried to brush passed the question. "Plus, I just like the rain," he says, a cheeky grin coming across his lips because it was true. "What about you? You're out here as well, though less morose as I, and you could also find plenty of company at a bar I am sure," he asks curiously. Two could play this game.

And I have been poisoned inside...
...but I, I feel so alive.
