South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

her eyes hold the apocalypse

South
She's a natural in disaster
The silence after and before
We're the ones she's chasing after
She's coming back for more

This was just too much for Tamzin to handle tonight, and she knew the only way she would relax at all was to continue drinking. She knew that wasn't the best idea, but she decided that everything else would be sorted out later. A sigh passed her lips as she took another long drink before placing the glass back on the table. She couldn't imagine who would want to kill someone like Serafina, she wasn't a horrible person. At least not that she could tell, she seemed different, but not in a bad way. Her head was shaken as she looked down at her drink, stirring it absentmindedly. It was clear that sitting still was impossible, but right now she was going to do all she could to just forget everything else.

It was then she heard Sera say she knew someone in the Council and her gaze shot to her childhood friend. Her brows furrowed in confusion, the Dark Hunters weren't supposed to have any sort of friendly relationship with a supernatural. What Tamzin didn't really understand was that this was her own mentality about it all, and that was because her mentor was very by the book. Maybe he was the reason she had such a deep hate for all the other supernatural beings out there. Maybe he was the reason she sold hers kills for the sole purpose of killing other beings that the humans were too afraid and weak to hunt. A sigh passed her lips and she took another drink before forcing herself to relax yet again.

Serafina then reached over and touched her hand and she felt chills skitter down her spine. Their eyes locked for a second and she gave a small smile at the wink, something about it helped her mind quiet. Her tongue brushed over her lips as she pulled her hand away and ran it over still perfectly in place hair. A sigh passed, she didn't know what else to do with this night. As happy as she was to see the woman she considered her responsibility for so many years, she was also terrified. What if she could never kill her? She would be running for the rest of her life, ducking whoever it was that wanted Sera dead. That wasn't how she wanted to spend her life, but she also didn't want to have the guilt of killing someone who still meant so much to her.

Emotions were pesky things, and Tamzin just wanted them to disappear. She didn't know how to deal with them, she hadn't known in years, so it was a shock to her system. The alcohol was only helping so much because Sera was still in close proximity to her, and she knew the only way she would get to even enjoy this time was to move. She needed to get her anxious energy out, so she quickly chugged her drink then got up and extended her hand to Sera.

"Let's dance."

Tamzin wasn't much of a dancer, she knew that, but it was better than sitting in one place and constantly fidgeting. There was a small dance floor that a few people were grinding on, so she knew that people's eyes wouldn't just be on her. Slender fingers wrapped around Sera's hand and she pulled her towards the dance floor. A deep breath was drawn in as she let go of the dark-haired woman's hand and started to sway side to side. The tension was obvious in Tamzin's body, she really needed to find a way to relax and it was just getting more and more frustrating that she couldn't. Icy eyes flickered around the bar, they were still receiving a couple curious glances, and after quickly glaring at the others her gaze landed back on Sera.

"I have missed you."

She blushed at her words and glanced away quickly trying to lose herself in the music more. It was harder than she remembered, but that was because she wasn't the type that went out dancing regularly. She was the woman who would go sit at a bar by herself, have a few drinks, glare at anyone who tried to approach her, and then leave as she was feeling loose. The last time she really danced was on her twenty-first birthday, and for a second she got a quick memory flash of how that played out. She squeezed her eyes closed and forced the thought away before her eyes fluttered open to find Sera's once again.

"I haven't danced since that night. I don't really remember how to move."

Tamzin laughed at her words, she was usually so spry. Dancing was different from stalking prey though, that was when her skill truly showed through. It was amazing to watch her hunt really; it was like a dance, one that only she knew and had spent years perfecting. Dancing to music was completely different, and she wondered if her muscle memory would kick in soon. Then again, she did have a lot to drink so maybe she would just keep swaying like that hardcore religious kid in high school.
