South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

TRUST MY RAGE

trust my rage
It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. You will always kneel.

It was dark and the forest was eerie. No wonder the Were's came here, it was creepy as fuck and these animals loved creepy. How many people did you know that turned into animals anyways? Drago steps off the pavement onto the grass, making sure to step light and walking slow. His gait is predatory as he slips through the trees, one hand lifting the gun from his waistband as he walks and the rope hung on a clip at his belt. A pale gleam of light from the sky illuminates things around him and the sounds of the forest grow louder. A growl from some large cat as it stalks the forest. His pulse ricochets, not with fear but with adrenaline, his lips peeling back into dangerous smile. He needs this, this hunt, to do something different. He was tired of the same old SAME OLD. It was time for a new regime and he had ideas that needed to come to fruition.

Branches groan beneath the hasty scramble of a squirrel. He doesn't bat a lash at it, instead focusing on the sound of thumping. Drago slowly presses himself against a tree, falling into the darkness that awaits him there, and with keen eyes watches a figure begin to appear. It is large, black and white, and he blinks once more to make sure he is seeing right. Out of all the fucking things to come across, he came across a horse. The tingling that begins in his hands tells him that this horse is anything BUT a horse and besides, who would let their animal free anyways? It is tempting... his finger brushes silkily across the trigger. To just shoot it, another kill for his log, but maybe it could be of help to him. Besides, it wasn't a predator and breaking the person might be easier. A good experiment.

One hand lowers with the gun while the other presses open the clasp with exaggerated slowness to prevent any wayward noise, pulling the coiled rope from beside his leg. He will wait now for the Were to come closer. It seems time passes by each second, long and drawn out as he measures his breathes, feeling as if he is burning alive. When the horse comes within 100 feet of him, however, it is time for action. No doubt by now she would smell him and he didn't have time to chase down a damn horse. He steps from the shadows at the very moment that he lifts the rope, twirling it, and letting it loose in hopes that it will sink around her neck. Drago is pleasantly surprised at how good his aim is and how smooth his throw is, having never lassoed a horse before. Should the rope fall around her neck he will yank it forward, lifting the gun with his other hand and pointing at her muzzle. "Chill out or I shoot. Your choice!" His voice is a growl, a warning.
